It gives the smoothness of nair or a actual razor but without all the irritation or scent... I'll forever use this razor and I'm gonna be a sad kitten when it breaks... also the wash station is so super cool and it smells citrusie and yummy after

Best razor I've ever used

My husband has very thick coarse facial hair and suffers with pain in hands trying to shave. I purchased this for him in hopes of helping with the pain. He had zero confidence since his hair is so thick and coarse. This has worked beyond his expectations! It's amazing. He even came to tears after being able to shave with such ease and no hand pain. This worked wonderfully!!

This is review is based upon my first month of use with the new Series 9 and switching from the Series 7 shaver. I am very happy with the quality of the shave. I get a smoother shave as well as quicker when compared to the Series 7 shaver. The shaver head is of good quality and a bit easer to clean with a brush.  I have not use the charging case, but will have a trip in February to try it out.  
One improvement I recommend is that the power button be made more difficult to push in or moved. I have on occasion turned off by simply moving my hand as I shave. 
I look forward to seeing how long the shaver head will last with a consistent quality shave.

Glad I Switch from the Series 7 to the Series 9

I upgraded to Series 9 after using a Braun razor for years. This one worked well until a few weeks ago when the cleaner stopped working. I notified Braun and they emailed me asking for information. Once supplied they sent me a mailing label and instructions about what I should return. It took about 10 days and my razor was returned with a new washer and all cleaned up like new. I have never received such good service from any company.

I have used series 7 since probably when it first came out  and have never had any issues foil head lasted longer than expected I found that the numbers for buying new one very confusing but decided to switch to 9pro+ but was worried because previously purchased other brands that gave me many red bumps and ingrown hairs I have used this a few days and can say that this was even so much better than expected definitely worth the money

My husband ordered this razor to replace an old one that no longer kept a charge. He's very happy with his purchase. The shave is close and his skin smooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item has lots of extra features, but does its essential job very well. Its bulkier than needed for the charging base and takes up more space but its overall great.

Wow, wow, wow This thing shaves close than my blade does. Why didn't I do this years ago? Probably because electric shaver weren't that good, I had a triple head and it would always pull your hairs and leave occasional ingrown ones.
This one doesn't, you don't even know you shaved except you can't stop touching your face. 
I find it works best wet with a tiny bit of soap after just washing your face. Sometimes I don't have to shave for two days. It misses everything on you skin except your hair. Half the time of my blade and no razor burn!

Truly amazing

Over the years I've tried several electric razors. Some more dry only, some wet and dry and I have the type of beard that just doesn't respond to an electric shaver. I was rubbing my skin to the point of irritation trying to get a close shave with my known hard to get at spots. I'm going back to a blade.

Way Overhyped

Doesn't serve the intended purpose. It doesn't give clean shave, hairs are left even after rolling on face for 3-4 times.
