[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] thicker than the new ac5250 germguardian activated cabon pre filters. old ones were still a little thinner than these. I wish these came with a merv rating if i had any complaints that would be the only one. But even without a merv rating these filter out large particles way better than the over priced ones that fit my germguardian from the manufacturer. the carbon also seems to last about a month longer before they fill up and start off gasing odors. All i have to do is cut them out using the hepa filter from lasko as my guide and they fit great. also i like how i can cut these to fit other appliances. they work wonders in window ac units. not restricted enough to bog the motor and hands down way better filtration of air than the mesh thats washable. i actually dont even need to wash the mesh filter if i have one of these put in front of it.  everything seems to be caught in this. including a lot of dust so it definitely would have a merv rating if they ever tested em for it to get an official rating. ive tried the ones from home depot, lowes and Walmart and even tho they come with a merv 8 and what looks like sprayed on carbon they're way thicker let too much through to clog the hepa. and have almost no odor capturing. so I'll be a lifetime customer of these as long as the quality doesn't change for the worst like germguardian did this year with their prefilters. besides these are so much more versatile and way more product for what you pay. like i said tho wish they get tested so they actually had a merv score. but that's just being picky on my part looking for something to list as a con. a zipper style bag would be awesome as well vs the snap bag style that way it stays sealed better especially if the bag gets bumped etc. overall tho glad they make these and im actually ordering some more today

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these to use on my fan blades and air vents.  Cutting it was pretty easy and installed on blades with 2 sided tape.  The vent filters were a breeze. 
 I cleaned the vents and repainted them all at the same time.  I didn't realize it was a 2 pack so it's an even better deal.

Reasonable price.  No Prop 65 toxin warning, unlike another brand.  Using in my Honeywell Extra Large Room HPA 300 Model.  These are very thin, but that doesn't seem to effect the performance.  Really helps with odors.
