I had many different ice cream makers before and always had different troubles with them. For me this Brentwood ice cream maker is perfect. It is big enough to churn about 700 - 800 ml of my homemade custard base or philadelphia style ice cream. After churning, I freeze my ice cream in Tovolo ice cream tub for couple of hours. Easy to crean.

Perfect for me.

Larger version of an ice cream maker I'd had previously so I knew what to expect and how it worked.  I've experimented with different flavours and combinations and am quite happy with the results now.  Making some relatively guilt free versions have made this a welcome addition to my kitchen.

works great,,key is make sure you freeze the bowl for minimum 12 hrs in a deep freeze and put mixture in the fridge for a few hours before starting...used 3 times now and perfect icecream each time..

Very easy to make ice cream, good quality product. Great for the price! 
Note: when making ice cream, don't fill up bowl all the way to the top to give it room to churn. Must transfer ice cream to another container to put in freezer.

Fun for the price but requires at least 12 hours of freezing before it  can make ice cream . Don't regret the purchase but may decide to invest more for less prep time.
