I have been an avid juicer for many years (20+) and have used many juicers, including the Champion and Greenstar, and I have to say, I love this juicer. Easy to operate, really large feedtube, and clean up is a breeze! Highly recommend, especially for $50! Now that I have been using it daily for a couple of weeks, I would gladly have paid more.

I made a big batch of carrot juice and it worked great! The pulp came out very dry. The only problem is that there was quite a bit of noise which I assumed was the last bit of the carrots being thrown against the side. It didn't affect the use of the machine.

Very good product that grinds, squeezes the fruit well to only get the juice we need. Very strong and easy assembly. I highly recommend it

Recommendations

Best thing I ever got for my everyday juice diet. Not heavy to clean. all the compartment comes out easily. It has two setting. jug carrier is nice n big with handle and lid. I highly recommend.

worth every penny

The machine is not noisy.  I have juiced Cucumbers, Beets, Onions, Celery, Carrots, Apples and it juices them perfectly except for Kale, I feel like it doesn't get all the juice out.  Unlike the pulp for the rest of the veg/fruit which look mushy, for Kale it looks shredded.  I might get a different result with softer leafy greens like collard or spinach.
I also wish the plastic jug that receives the juice was not as fragile, it feels like it can break easily
The machine parts are easy to disassemble and assemble and also easy to hand wash.
Overall, its a good Juicer.

You get what you paid for

This jc500 unit works wonderful,it's very powerful and much quieter than I expected.
I would recommend it to anyone wanting a low cost juicer with that's as good as my daughters $150.00 pro model.

Brentwood juicer

It's my first time owning a juicer. So I wasn't really sure what to expect from this one. However it works pretty well, I've used it twice already.
I also noticed quite a bit of froth that comes out when the juice is extracted, ( I simply scoop it off).
Clean-up is not that bad. Although it might have been a good idea to include a brush to clean the filter & Blades because cloths and sponges tend to get trapped in the tiny blades.
Apart from that, it works well.

Strong juicer.......was kinda skeptical due to price, but good quality, good price and it gets the job done!!!!

GETS THE JOB DONE

If your new to juicing and just starting out, then I would get this one. It's good for the price and makes good juice. The parts fit like an old war machine so it's is very messy when juicing loose greens, like kale, spinach, etc. So expect to clean little green particles off your counter every time you juice. This is a fast juicer too, so you have to drink the juice right after you make it or it will oxidize. If you decide you don't like juicing after this one, then the price won't hurt your wallet.

If you have the money and you are serious about juicing and your health, then I would recommend getting a slow juicer like the kuvings slow juicer. A slow juicer preserves the freshness of the juice and helps prevent oxidation, allowing it to be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Gets the job done

I bought this for my husband for Christmas, so he tried it out on Christmas day, it went back to the store the next day. This juicer wasted so much and food would fly everywhere. It was coming out of the sides of the pulp tank, plus it leaked. You had to use so much fruit and veggies to get enough juice to even drink. Clean up was awful. We had to let it soak for a couple hours just to get it clean. I WOULD NOT recommend this product to anyone.
