Can be sturdy and beautiful, but also flimsy and prone to sticking.

Does not distribute heat consistently, leading to undercooked areas.

Cleaning is hindered by fixed grids and plates.

Good for the price but do NOT overfill. It's a pain to clean. 
1/4 cup batter is the measurement. 
It's kind of confusing to know when it's preheated because both the red and green lights stay on, but I would purchase this again.

It's possible that the nonstick coating has pfas, so I will be careful not to use metal utensils on it and be watching closely for any damage to the surface. The only other thing that makes it not perfect is there's only one heat setting. On. But it's super easy to use, and I like the larger  size. The price, at $10, is also great, the same price as those nostalgia brand things that either stop working completely after a couple months,  or the nonstick surface turns into a chipped, toxic mess (I went through three of those. no more). My first test was not a waffle, but I used a pre-made pizza crust that I needed to use up, cut to size, and topped it with mozzarella cheese. I didn't use oil, and it did not stick on the top or bottom, and it heated my impromptu dinner in a minute or so. I'll keep experimenting, but I feel this is a great buy.

I liked that it was small, can be stood upright and takes up a small amount of room. I think the non stick feature but I still used cooking spray. Cleaning was not too difficult. I ran it under water on the parts that had batter stuck to them on the outside. I ran the inside under water too, for just a minute and it seemed to get everything off.  It made the waffles fine. The waffles were not "crispy" but perhaps they should have been kept in longer.

Good for the money

It is a lot smaller than I thought, the photo makes it seem much larger than it is. Yes you can make 2 waffles, but they will stick together because they are so close.

It may be good if you want small regular waffles but we were making chaffles for our diet, cheese and egg. 1 egg and cheese was not enough to fill up both sides. 2 eggs and cheese was too much, it ran over and on the counter. It just didn't work for us.

Simple waffle maker, doesn't do well with timing on doneness and only has a light to notify when it's cooked, but easy to open and check. You get what you pay for, it was on sale and we paid about 9 bucks. Recommend if you can get it for very cheap, can watch for the light closely and you don't need to feed growing boys. 
We returned it mainly due to it not making very large portions at a time.

Simple, small, but gets the job done.

Unfortunately, this waffle maker doesn't have a deep area for the waffle batter, as a result the waffles come out like they've been pressed down instead of fluffy. I've tried making them with different batters, latched down or not latched down they've turned out the same

I do not recommend buying this product. I bought this product from the Walmart app on October 18, 2023 and got it delivered to me on October 20, 2023. On October 21, 2023 the waffle maker cut on fire.

If you like tough, chewy, floppy waffles that take forever, this is for you . Even at under 10 bucks, it is not worth it. Will be returning this junk.

this item did not work out for me. I made waffles for dinner the day it came in the mail. From the first waffle to the fifth waffle it burned in the same spot every single time. I need to return it.
