We purchased this to live through a kitchen remodel. It was very helpful. It would also be great for camping or a party where something needs to be kept warm. Works great

small but study ,heat is well distributed

I use this type of device daily and if it holds up over time it will be a very good purchase, I've had it only about 3 weeks so time will tell. So far, So good

Working Good

Arrived on time, no dents, it works pretty well! The only thing is you need to unscrew parts if you want to clean the burners. There's no way to clean otherwise. We haven't done that yet but it seems to be the way to do it.  Not gonna worry about it. It works fast, very practical.  Good price!

I'm happy!

The shipping was on time, no damage. I love this thing. I use it everyday instead of that electricity sucking 220 stove. It works so good that my husband removed that stove from my kitchen. I have a separate oven that I use and I am very comfortable using the appliances this way.
I tried another electric burner, you know the kind that has a flat burner with no coils and it did not heat up enough. But this Brentwood Double Burner has the coils that heat up great. I can cook anything on it, my everyday dinners. I have no problems at at all
I live in Louisiana and as I write this I'm cooking a large pot of gumbo.

as good as expected

this is a bare bones electric hot plate that does everything it is suppose to .. The dial adjustments work like they are suppose to and the heat control is exellent for both elements ... Very satisfied ...

This works as advertised so functionally I'm satisfied. However, when you plug it in a red light comes on and when you turn on a burner a green light comes on. This is the opposite color pattern you would expect! Surprisingly off-putting. Also, I was using mine so the burners line up front to back which puts the lights on the side so if you leave the burner on you won't know it for a long time. Also, the wire to the wall is surprisingly thin wire so I doubt it is safe to plug into any kind of extension cord.

Functional but I have safety concerns.

Good for emergency use while my cooktop is being replaced.  Burners are not thermostatically controlled so you either have hot or turn it off to cool down.  It beats not having anything to cook on at all.  Would not do well for long term use.

Works in a pinch

The 1500W is a TOTAL of the wattage of the small and the big burners. One of them has 900W and one of them has 600W. 

The result is very slow cooking that takes 12+ minutes to bring a small pot of vegetables that had a bottom that wasn't bigger than the burner. The big burner has come to a point where it won't even be able to heat a small pot to START cooking in that time frame in just a few weeks.

I would suggest buying a single burner that has around 1000~1200W if you're buying something around this price range instead so that you can get something heated without having to wait so long for this one. To compare wattage to something you're familiar with, the biggest burner of a standard 4 burner electric stove has about 2000W.

So if you're just bringing this out somewhere to have something cheap that will keep some small pots or pans heated for an event (given 10 minutes so it can start to heat up whatever you're cooking), it would work. Also, if you're really poor and just want something that will work for a little while even if it's awfully slow, this might be worth it. 

You'd be much better off, if you have the money, to buy a reliable but more expensive 150~300$ version of this type of cooktop with 2-4 burners if you're someone who doesn't find a use for ovens like me.

Understand Wattage and Purpose First

From day one these burners did not work right, like barely any heat adjustment. low or super hot and little in between. I think it was wired wrong. It had a warning light that said it was to warn that burners might be hot, but it stayed on as long as the stove was plugged in, even if it had not been on for days. It was also difficult to clean around burners. Bought this for my apartment, but gave it to my niece who wanted it for camping.
