Grind and brew for morning coffee is such a wonderful luxury. I arrive in the kitchen for breakfast and a pot of great coffee is waiting for me
This machine is great. Very easy to use. 
It's helpful to use the included tool to do the easy job of cleaning the inner chute once in awhile to avoid clogs.  I try to avoid oily looking coffee beans to keep the coffee grounds flowing freely

We purchased this coffee maker a month ago, and so far we are extremely happy with our purchase! It is fast and quiet. It seems to be a durable machine. One of the things I appreciate about this appliance is the inner chute doesn't need to be cleaned as often as the grind and brew machine we had previously.

Quality Appliance

This machine is the bomb! Everything about it makes brewing coffee wonderful and simple. I read one blog that mentioned the coffee bean hopper not feeding beans efficientl, that may be true if you do not keep the hopper full at all times. Not a problem for me! A great cup or pot of coffee every time.

I would not recommend the machine.  Switching between beans and ground coffee not easy and manual is not clear.  Door for coffee basket opens prior to production so one needs to be close to machine.  Far too expensive in view of problems.

How we feel about machine

Top knob makes this coffee maker about a half-inch too tall to easily slide under the upper cabinets. This can be achieved however, by tilting the unit to the side (after use and cleaning) and moving it under the cabinet for stand-by.

Having had the previous version for over 8 years, it took some fiddling to get a handle on this new improved model.  Level 2 strength using Eight O'clock Columbian beans produces the best cup of freshly ground coffee in the neighbourhood.  Hands down this coffee maker is the best in the market and worth every penny.

Wake up with Breville!

I would normally rate a 5 star or 1. I hesitated on the purchase as there were a lot of 1 ratings. As it turns out this was one the best coffee makers I've had. As with most automated grinders. You can not use oily beams. And I would give it a thorough cleaning once a month. My biggest disappointment for the money we paid for it, is it only last 4 years before it stopped working.

For the money I expect it to last longer

Quitting k-cups, I thought this coffee maker would help me stop using Keurig (used one for 15 years).  I like the freshly ground coffee.  It tastes so much better.  There are a couple of things I don't care for about the machine.  I'm not sure why the carafe leaks sometimes, especially when it reaches the bottom, I can never pour that last bit of coffee.  It's a bit difficult to clean the carafe because of its slender opening. If I could fix it, I would change the carafe design slightly.  Also, it would be helpful if the carafe would stay warm on the stand while I'm between cups by having a warming tray.  It would also be nice if it could dispense hot water for tea.  I still won't go back to k-cups due to the freshness of the coffee.

Back to the grind

The coffee maker is good, but very fussy with it care. It is not a pour coffee and run...there is a lot of cleaning to keep this machine working at top notch.

Breville Grind and Brew coffee maker is a machine that I have to give it mixed reviews. On the one hand, it offers the convenience of a built-in grinder, making it easy to grind your beans fresh for each pot of coffee. However, on the other hand, some times we have experienced issues with the machine's grinder plugging up, which can be frustrating and time-consuming to fix.

In addition, we have noted that the coffee produced by the Grind and Brew is not as hot as we would like it to be. While the machine does keep the coffee warm in the carafe we do have to microwave it in a mug to bring it up to temperature.

Despite these issues, when the machine does work properly, the coffee it produces is excellent. The built-in grinder allows you to grind your coffee beans to your desired coarseness, ensuring that you get the perfect cup of coffee every time. And, the machine's programmable features make it easy to set up your coffee to brew at the perfect time, so you can wake up to the delicious aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

Overall, while the Grind and Brew coffee maker has some issues with the grinder plugging up and the coffee not staying as hot as desired, its ability to produce excellent coffee when it does work properly makes it a worthy investment for coffee lovers who are willing to put up with some minor inconveniences.
