Having not used a sandwich toaster for ver 20 years this was a revelation. So easy to use, hardly any cleaning needed and the variety and quality of the sandwiches produced is exceptional. Lunchtimes will never be the same again!

Great product. Intuitive to use

I missed out on the first batch of the Press. Just wasn't quick enough, but I managed to secure one second try. It is a world of a difference from my old toastie maker and progress is a good thing. Of course you need a bit of practice in getting the toastie the way you like best yourself but the range of things that you can use the Press for is growing longer by the day. A croissant out of the freezer placed on the heated bottom plate and warmed through in around 2 mins. Flatbreads out of the freezer can be thawed, warmed through and butter spread on top to gently melt on the lower plate and put the lid on " melt". I really love it and it is in use frequently

Super Toastie Maker

Have had a deep cut sandwich maker and a panini press in the past , both of which ended up at the charity shop. The first used to cut the sandwich but the filling would end up all over the place, the second toasted the outside but not the filling, both top of the range supposedly.  The sage however, looks sleek and feels very solid.  Heats up quickly with a ready light. Makes perfect toasties , my favourite is cheese and onion, cooks the onion to perfection. No mess, just a wipe over and put away. Neat storage for the wiring and doesn't take up too much room. Thought a long time before purchasing as not the cheapest on the market but being a Sage product I knew I wasn't likely to be disappointed.
Worth every penny and a great product. Would highly recommend as I cannot think of any thing bad to say about it, it is not something to hide out of sight ! Quick tasty lunches are well and truly back on the menu in our house .

Best sandwich maker on the market

This is such a brilliant addition to my Sage kitchen appliance family !   It is so easy to keep clean, you can use bread or paninis. It is ideal as being an oldie and with wrists that are rubbish I found it impossible to click the handle down on my old sandwich toaster.  It is so useful to be able to store it on it's side, and the flex being stored underneath is a bonus and so tidy !  And the best bit, it makes amazing crispy toasted sandwiches !
Now I am saving up for an ice cream maker, may take a while on a pension  !

Fantastic product !

Bought this as we were disappointed with the results produced by our previous toasty makers. It has certainly lived up to expectations. It consistently produces a nice even browning on both slices of bread and filling is perfectly melted and cooked. It was a little more expensive purchase but the results are far superior. The moveable top plate sold it to us, it's one of the reasons  the browning and cooking results are always so good.

Perfect Press, perfect results!

I've had sandwich makers that produced reasonable results but lost their non-stick very quickly and others that were poor but with good non-stick properties. This produces better results than all of them and nothing sticks to the surface. I worried about the plates not being removable but simply not an issue. Not cheap but worth the money.

Top Quality Product

Excellent.  Love the flat plates, easy to clean and store. This is the 7th product I have from this range  they are all of exceptional quality and would recommend  to anyone.

Simple design and works very well, distributes heat evenly. Flat plates are easier to maintain so I like it more than the ribbed option. Also the hinge is very useful, the main reason I bought this product. Size just about right.

Even heat and crispy results

This is the second “The Perfect Press” that we have purchased, as we already have one in our holiday static holiday home. Ok, it's described/sold as a sandwich toaster, but it's much more. We also use it for quickly cooking burgers, steak, bacon, griddled eggs and much more. The none stick coating is exceptional as food just does not stick at all, and they are so easy to clean. Just a quick wipe down with paper towel and jobs done.
Highly recommended.

Much more than just a toaster

I replaced an old Breville sandwich maker with this. I like the Sage's compactness. The plates, being flat, are much easier to keep clean than ones with grooves. The adjustable size setting is really useful. Heats to green light in about 2 minutes, so not too long a wait. The matt stainless steel setting fits with my other appliances. I miss the Breville's temperature control - this press has one setting only. Ideal for long sandwiches and grilling. Too narrow for large round items like tortillas laid flat. Not cheap but quality.

Worth the splash out for good lunchtime, lockdown at home toasties

It doesn't heat up much and cool down as soon as you put a bread on the plate
