Ease Of Use

Value For Money

Build Quality

Beverage Variety

Appearance

Can be sleek and stunning, but also criticized for flaws.

Allows for intuitive initial configuration.

Features easy-to-use interface for settings and programming.

Offers great value, but can be expensive for some users.

Made with high-quality materials and craftsmanship.

Setting up this espresso machine was effortless. The intuitive touchscreen provided all the information we needed. After a couple of experimental brews, we were consistently making espresso that rivals major coffee chains with their expensive equipment. We highly recommend the Barista Touch. Thank you, Breville, for delivering a true taste of Italy right to our kitchen.

Great Espresso Machine, great cup coffee!

breville.com

We've had the Breville 880 for a couple of weeks now and use it every day. It's incredibly user-friendly, and the design looks absolutely stunning. Highly recommended!

Loving Our Breville 880 So Far

I have had my barista touch for three weeks and I love it, I am satisfied with the delivery time 2 and a half weeks during this period it is very acceptable.

Barista touch excellent espresso house

Very belle machine that makes excellent capuccino. The only small defect, the stainless top is very easily scratched despite all the precautions we can take.

Very good value for money

I am impressed with this coffee machine!! My coffee is as good as the coffee in the corner and I can even make latte art with vegetable milk!! Plus, it’s so easy to use that my 10-year-old uses it every day to make milk foam. The whole family is filled.

Perfect!

easy to use and makes superb espesso and capucino. Will change your morning cup experience

Superb morning cup!

Great quality and excited to learn more about the art of making coffee

Elegant style of making coffee

I am so satisfied with my very easy to use machine and the coffee is worthy of a neighborhood coffee shop

Wonderful Barista Touch

I am more than satisfied. It takes a few tries and mistakes before you get the coffee you want at first, but when you find the recipe, the coffees are tasty. I recommend buying this machine.

Worthy of an espresso from a barista! - Oh, my God. - Oh, my God.

The finishing is cheap and scratches easily. Good quality coffee though.

Finishing

I received this machine as a gift from my boyfriend in December 2024, and while it worked well initially, the experience quickly went downhill. By March 2025, the machine stopped functioning properly — it would no longer brew even a single shot of espresso, despite being set to brew two.

I followed all troubleshooting steps in the manual, including descaling, cleaning the portafilter, and replacing the water filter, all with official Breville products. I've also used high-quality beans — starting with Propeller Coffee (which came with the machine) and switching to fresh weekly roasted beans from a local roaster.

The machine has only been used for about two weeks per month from January to August 2025, as we were away for extended periods. Despite this light usage, I have to factory reset the machine once or twice a week just to get a proper brew.

I regularly adjust settings based on grind and extraction time to stay within the 8–12 second range. Still, the issue persists.

For an expensive machine, this has been a deeply frustrating experience. The product is unreliable and has cost me more money in beans due to the constant need to brew multiple times to get a normal cup.

Disppointing Peformance for an expensive machine
