Beeping

The previous Breville kettle we had lasted more than a decade. It still worked, but over the years the lid got loose, there were cracks, the outer decorative paint peeled. A decade is a long time for something that sees a lot of use every day.

This one might last even longer. We went for the glass option, so there is no paint to peel at all. And I took apart the old kettle to see how the lid opening mechanism is screwed together - I could've fixed it if I knew it. This new one seems to have the same one and I'll be able to fix it if the same problem develops in a decade.

P.S. It beeps louder than the old one did. Either the beeper accumulated some lint over the years or the new one has a different part. I am still getting used to it being louder. Would be nice if there was a variable resistor to adjust the volume by turning a screw on the bottom.

Great replacement

I love this kettle!! i never knew tea could taste so different when boiled to the correct tempature, i will never go back, the performance is well worth the price

IQ kettle

I recommend this kettle. It looks good (even with heavy use) and feels durable. The controls make it easy to set the right temperature to make the perfect tea! :)

Great Kettle

Love the different temperature settings. It's an improvement from the old models where the max water volume Is located much lower so the boiling water does not affect the filter on the spout.

Love this

I've been using this kettle daily, and it's been fantastic. It's incredibly durable, standing up to constant use without any issues. The sleek design adds a nice touch to my kitchen, making it both functional and stylish.
One of the best features is the various functions for different types of teas.

Overall, this water kettle works exceptionally well and has become an essential part of my daily routine. If you're looking for a reliable and attractive kettle with versatile functions, this one is a great choice!

Reliable and durable kettle

Kettle works great and quality is superior. This is our sixth of this type and it is working perfectly. The previous ones were from other brands and either leaked or failed prematurely. I would highly recommend, it beats the cheaper other brands hands down.

High quality kettle!

Great product, good design, feels sturdy, works well. Docked a star for only having the temps in F. Should be in Celsius or at least both.

Solid quality kettle, missing Celsius temps

Nice kettle but the beeps are annoying. Beep when you pick it up, beep when you put it back. Many people suggest a button combination to turn the beeps off, but it doesn't work for this model.

Nice kettle but with annoying beeps

The temperature options are in Fahrenheit. I bought this kettle in Canada, not the USA. Why would I possible want a kettle with temperatures in Fahrenheit - the most useless system when it comes to water boiling and freezing. Water boils are 100C and it freezes at 0C. Why would I possible want Fahrenheit on my kettle. Terrible design for the Canadian market. It makes no sense to me. I might as well have a standard kettle.

Temperatures in Fahrenheit

I purchased this kettle and absolutely loved it for the first year and then the lid began to have issues not opening and then sticking, and now when I attempt to use it, it rarely registers when I place the kettle on its stand. It only works half of the time if I turn it a certain direction. Also, it makes a very loud obnoxious sound now when it is boiling which for me is a safety concern. This product is expensive for the quality that it has provided over the past year.

Loved this until it began to not work
