Beautiful machine, raisonnable purchase for a perfect transition from a Nespresso machine to manually brewing your espresso without breaking the bank.  It's a good beginner machine.  So far it is very quiet and doesn't rattle while working. Personally, the only thing I think is missing is a 58mm portafilter (all professional machines come with a 58).

We've been thinking about buying a real espresso machine for a long time. The prices were a bit scary but the Barista Pro from Breville is definitely worth it. We are really delighted as much for my Lattes as my spouse for his espressos. A big point for the aesthetics of this little wonder that is really well thought out.

Better than expected, was on the fence if i should spend a decent amount of money on this machine or fully jump into the world of espresso and spend extra money to get something a bit nicer (Profitec, Ascaso, etc.) happy to say this is a great machine that makes quality espresso, I hope it last 8 -10 years. Haven't regretted my purchase or felt like i should have spend the extra money.

Exceeded Expectations

From the moment it arrived, the Barista Pro impressed with its modern design and user-friendly interface. Setup was a breeze, thanks to the clear instructions provided. Within minutes, I was ready to embark on a journey of coffee excellence.  As a novice coffee lover, it is a game-changer for me. The espresso produced by the Barista Pro is making me feel like a Pro:-)

Superb machine

Had this for over a year now and it's held up great. Overall happy with my purchase. Makes great espresso and heats up quick. 

I do wish the water tank was tinted instead of clear to deter algae from forming when placed next to a window

Great

Once I played a tutorial on YouTube I was able to navigate how to setup and use the Breville Pro. I experimented with the settings to produce the desired dose and the appropriate espresso. Still trying to figure out how to produce a hotter expression. I only had this machine a month and would recommend this unit.

Delicious espresso

Love the overall  look of  this machine. Biggest difficulty is adjusting the grind of the beans. It is fast, hot and flavorful. Have  a single serve unit (for years) and compared the coffees one after another.  There is a defined difference in speed, taste and smoothness. The steamer /froth wand is powerful. Just make sure to clean it after each use as it will get clogged with milk.  We just run some steam through and it cleans itself. This sits on my counter and looks "rich"!

An Excellent Machine

Coffee is delicious... but it is a little complicated to understand. Making it work is easy. But calculating the weight of coffee, the seconds... it's a bit of Chinese. I left the default settings and it's very good but I'll have to spend a little more time to make the coffee 100% to my taste

Overall this is a great machine, easy to dial in and use, sturdy and great color options. The only thing it could improve upon would be to add a built in tamper, as grinding and tamping is a little messy.

I loved this espresso machine but after just a few months of use and following the proper care instructions it still broke down on us. It started beeping and failing to operate without any information on what to do in this scenario in the instruction manual, we are now boxing it up to send in for repair :(
