It says on the box this fencing is for 1:9 Traditional scale size horses; no it's not. I have both Traditional 1:9 and Classic 1:12 scale horses along with the fencing for both. There's NO difference in height; just the personal preference........plastic 1:12 or wood 1:9 scale. Personally I like the wood; it's nicer looking and longer (11 sections) then the plastic ones (10 sections), and there's no connecting them. Plus, the wood fence sections are each connected on pivot pins so you don't have to connect them; allowing for no accidental knock overs. The plastic fencing is constantly falling over and coming apart.
So, this is a personal preference thing when it comes to fencing your Breyer, other horses, and farm animal collector's.

It seems to be made well. Good quality. Longer than I expected, but that is a good thing. My grandson has only used it a few times since we got it but he loves being able to make different shapes to coral his toy animals.

Fencing was solid wood as described.  Easily folds to store.  The fence worked nicely for my 6 yr old granddaughter playing with her horses.

I'd buy this product again!
