University Games-Pete The Cat Groovy Buttons Game. Move around the board, collecting and losing buttons as you go. When all of the buttons are gone the player with the most buttons wins. This 10- 1/2x10-1/2x2-1/2 inch package contains forty buttons, four button jar boards, one game board with spinner, four game pieces, four stands and instructions. Recommended for ages 3 and up. WARNING: Choking Hazard- small parts. Not for children under 3 years. Imported.

This game is both confusing and simple. The instructions really are not clear--no starting point, 40 buttons but they have different names which is not made clear--some are labeled tokens?  If you decide to try for the Pete buttons you never get to the top of the board. Both my first and second grade tutoring students lost interest before we had finished even a full game. Getting the cats in the stands tears up the bottom of the card--they really don't slide well. Spinner does not spin--we used dice instead. 

Kids love Pete as do I as a reading teacher, but this was a bust. Will donate  it to the center in May.

Great game for the whole family!

The game is easy and fun to play. It does not take long to get a winner, and can be played over and over again. The 1st to play is the youngest.

omg i was so happy when i found this we love pete the cat books. and this game did not disappoint we are obsessed. my older kid loves it too highly recommend for a family game night 💕

love this game

This is a great spin off of the book and my 6&9 yr old love both the book and the game. It reinforces counting. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone with children especially if your child loved the book.
