[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BFF Bright Fairy Friends Mermaid with Sea Castle is such an entertaining toy. The castle lights stone up and glows magically before freeing the mermaid from her castle by opening her door. My daughter enjoys dressing and putting the mermaids flippers on and off.

painted-on top and glittering tail skirt. She wants all the other colors for
her doll friends.
The doll is 6 inches tall. Perfect size for doll play, and comes in
bright pink castle/case that lights up on top, has a door that 
opens and click closes to help keep accessories together.
Makes a great gift for birthday parties.

Best mermaid doll for kiddos

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 7 y/o daughter and she seems to like it. The doll is cute and she liked opening up individual surprises that come with the doll. The castle is cylindrical and everything fits back inside, including the doll. The only thing is you have to lift the doll slightly off of her base to fit in properly when storing.
The castle has a very small light bulb, which I assume is LED. This lights up from the top of the inside. It's very subtle, but it still adds a nice touch.
Overall this is a cute little toy and I actually think it's a great small toy to add to and Easter basket or perhaps even cram into a Christmas stocking. It's also a good size for school mates birthday parties.

I got this toy for my granddaughter she's eight years old. She loves little dollies like this that are fairies or there's a unicorn or anything like that. This one is cute it comes in a little tiny castle that holds both the doll and everything that comes with the doll. It has a light that you can turn on or there is one that runs for a short time or just turn it off it kind of flashes at the top. I haven't change the batteries yet so I'm not sure how hard it is but I don't think it should be too bad. The Particular doll that she got has orange hair with silvery looking strands in it. It also has a brush to brush the hair. There is a sponge, a hair clip and a stand for the doll. The doll has legs but when she is a mermaid there is a tail that slips on over the feet and legs either a tail fin. She got a real kick out of that. The doll has fairy wings and if you use the sponge with ice water the wings change color which is cute for the kids. This is a small doll but my granddaughter seems to be enjoying it immensely.

This will be a gift for my niece birthday. The only thing I am concerned it looks it can break anytime. It operates on 2 AAA 1.5 V batteries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter went from loving to unicorns to now mermaids. She was so excited to open this. She even keeps other items in the castle. I thought it was cool how it lit up (the castle). 
The doll has wings that change colors. Not super drastic but my daughter asks for icy water frequently enough to keep her doing it. She likes to do her hair on the little stand. I thought that was cute to have that. We love the accessories too.

Lots of little extra perks about this Mermaid Toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BFF bright fairy friends mermaid my daughter received was fun to open and we liked that the case lights up and there were some surprise items inside, but I found the mermaid itself to be kind of cheaply made and probably won't last long. My daughter tried to brush her hair and her hair came out in clumps.

Pretty cute, kind of cheap

The mermaid fairy doll is colorful, festive and has a head of glittery hair. Included with this set is a sponge intended to change the wing color with cold water. After several attempts, this did not work and therefore no color change happened. A disappointment.
