i did not have the issue the previous reviewer encountered , switched it off the try me .. and she can repeat anything you says for as long as 1 minute , and that feels very longg .
 press the belly if you want her to keep repeating what you said , or repress the ear to do a new recording . when you shake her around she said he faster  or slower  its so funny it does like (helium voice) .. she says so much stuff when u press her hand you can select different mode ..i cant even count how many phrases she says but theres a lot .. 
when you dont play with her she's like "Helloooo"  youhouuuuu"" then eventualy starts snoring  and turns off .  greatest doll , my 9months old baby girl love her , my 3 years old daughter loves her , and my 7 years old son has a blast with  making her repeat silly thing and make her voice slow or fast ..   if u can go online watch some video review of all she does then do it ! i love that her mouth moves when she talk ,it makes her talking so realistic

We didn't have any of the issues that the previous reviewer had. This is quite a durable toy. The age advertised is 4+ though. My one year old got this for Christmas and she loves it. She carries it around everywhere. It works great! And even with her dropping it and throwing it around it hasn't stopped working. We will definitely buy another.

This is a birthday present so can't rate it for performance. It is very cute and much adored by the giftee

I bought two of these around Christmas for my two younger daughters (5 & 7) and we are all VERY disappointed.  In "Try Me" mode the thing will re order your voice and play it back to you and say a few things by pressing the various buttons but when switched over to "On" mode to use its full features it doesn't record your voice and play it back, it only repeats the same few things when advertised to say dozens of various sentences, and more importantly, it freezes and doesn't do anything unless switched on then off or placed back into the "Try Me" mode. Furthermore the package ties went right through the back of its head and caused two holes in the fabric just from  the placement inside the packaging.

Now, my sister and a friend of a friend also received them as gifts. My sister's daughter is having the same issues as I mentioned above plus hers goes to sleep when she's pressing the ear to repeat words. I witnessed the friend of a friend open her child's Brightling and the box said it was the English version and so did the tag attached to the toys arm but when the buttons were pressed it spoke FRENCH. Somehow the wrong product ended up in the box and the toy company wanted her to pay out of pocket to send in the toy.

Doesn't work like commercials show! Waste of money
