I'm in the middle of a house renovation and needed to lock up my back shed as we were living elsewhere. It has held up great so far in the environment, and I see no wear or tear happening at all. I fully expect this to last a long time and am very happy with it.

Extremely impressed with this! It is rock solid and heavy duty. This lock is a great lock to put somewhere that you can depend on. The cut strength on this lock is what makes Brinks number one for security! I put this on my tool storage system to add the extra layer of security. Well done with this product! I am very happy with this lock. It is very robust and well built. The construction looks to be able to withstand alot of abuse. I am very curious to see how well it will hold up in the snow and ice of New York. As an amateur lock picker i was not able to pick this lock so i am very impressed with the lock mechanism! This will absolutely become my main lock for security!

I have a few locks from Hampton / Brinks and love them all. When it comes to security, I always get commercial products for residential use because it will be more secure. Hampton and Brinks are reputable, trusted names that have been around for a long time. I always need locks for my shed, deck box, tool box's, and to chain up gates, outdoor furniture, ladders, etc... I live in a nice neighborhood right outside of the city. The problem is people come over here from the city when they want to steal something. I've had quite a few things stolen in the past. I've upgraded my camera system and started locking everything up to prevent another theft. I noticed my outdoor Master Locks were showing signs of wear and needed to be updated. I just got the master locks last year, and they are already looking rough. I decided I wanted a different brand this time and went with Hampton / Brinks because my smart deadbolt lock is from this brand, and I love it. I got a Brinks stainless steel body / shackle and this steel padlock. This padlock came with 2 keys. It has a 2" long shackle made of durable baron steel. The shackle is cut resistant up to 11,000 lbs. It is also pry resistant up to 5,000 lbs. The weather resistant body has a durable cover to help prevent it from damage. The inside has 5 pins that are pick resistant. This lock is perfect for locking up my shed, deck box, or locking a chain around my gate or furniture. The lock looks well-made and has a hefty feel to it. I have less stress and worry that someone is going to steal from me. I definitely feel better protected with these locks, and it gives me peace of mind. Brinks will be my go-to brand for any future lock or security needs.

This lock is very well made and sturdy, I appreciate the rubber lining on it to prevent damaging anything it is latched to from vibration and rubbing. Very impressed!

Great lock

I use this lock on my garage which sits in an alley and not only is it solid it's intimidating. So far so good. Will purchase more for my gates.

Fits my packout boxes great! Only downside is they come very greasy out of the box, wear gloves while handling.
