An overnight repair treatment to strengthen, restore moisture, repair split ends, and increase elasticity, shine, and luster while you sleep. For those with dry, damaged, chemically treated and/or lifeless hair. <br /><br />WHAT IT DOES: <br />This nutrient-rich hair treatment gel melts into an oil to release Briogeo's signature NOVA complex in its purest, most potent state. This complex encapsulates a reparative blend of natural oils, vitamins, and antioxidants which prevents oxidation, thereby exposing hair to fresh nutrients as the formula melts down upon use. A unique blend of biotin, argan oil, rosehip oil, algae extract, and coconut alkanes strengthens hair, replenishes moisture, and increases elasticity to make hair more resistant to breakage, while enhancing shine and luster as your sleep.<br /><br />APPLICATION:<br />Dispense one to two nickel-sized amounts. Massage the treatment into the scalp and throughout the hair from root to tip before bedtime (protect your pillow with a towel, if needed). The gel will melt into oil as the formula begins penetrating the scalp and hair. Leave the treatment in overnight and shampoo to remove the next day.<br />Don't Despair, Repair! should be used once per week or every two weeks. I received the Briogeo Don't Despair Repair! Gel-to oil overnight repair treatment in my Ipsy bag a few months back and just tried it for the first time last night. You massage the treatment all throughout your hair and shampoo it out the next day. It infuses Natural Oils, Vitamins, and Antioxidants into the hair to strengthen, restore moisture, and repair damage while you sleep. This product smells amazing and works very well. A little bit goes a long way. I highly recommend this hair repair treatment.

I am desperately trying to find something to help mend my breaking hair and I used this last night and it seems magical. I can't wait to use it again in a few days! I didn't want to wash it out this morning because it smells SO GOOD! Amazing. Great product and I will def be investing in others from this product line.

Hair feels so great & it smells amazing

I got this as an Ipsy sample a couple months ago. My friend, who has fine and silky blonde hair hated hers and gave me it, so I had two to properly test. My curls are 2B-3A. Strands are fine but lightly textured. This was a great product for my ends. I could curl my hair and add this to insert moisture back immediately. I also put it in the night before a shower and wear a satin cap. In the morning I wash and my hair has way less breakage afterwards. Love this stuff. Glad Sephora has it now. Made the order last night!

Great For Lightly Textured Hair

I tried this after using a different briogeo product and loving it. I have to say briogeo keeps killing it! My hair is feeling so much healthier. This treatment is so easy to apply at night and sleep in. A little goes a long way since you spend so much time with the product in your hair. I read you can wear it while you work out too, which is what I plan to try next!

Really soothing and great consistency. Doesn't come with a lot and it's very $$$. To make the product last longer I mix it in with coconut oil before applying it to my hair. I have really long thick hair and if I didn't do this I would probably only get two uses out of it.

I gave 4 stars because it says to leave it in 10 min and there is another product I love that requires less time. Loved this! I received a sample from Ipsy, sometimes I feel as though my scalp is really dry and my hair needs more moisture especially since I straighten it often. This has definitely done the trick, leaving my scalp feeling great and hair looking shiny and not dry and brittle.

I am a huge lover of the Briogeo brand, all their products are good, and most are even great. This one ended up being just good though, I don't know that I would repurchase it, just because I like the deep conditioner better and I feel like it does more. But this did leave my hair feeling very soft, and my curls nicely defined!

Pros: Smells super good, natural ingredients, works like a hair mask should Cons: I have very thick, dry hair that is a little past my shoulders and the sample size I got from Ipsy was only one and a half treatments (the first time didn't use enough), so nickel size won't do anhthing, more like quarter sized. And it's very expensive, I feel less expensive products have the same effect.

I used this in conjunction with the Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair!(TM) Deep Conditioning Mask I received in my April Birchbox. It is an overnight treatment that has to be washed out the next morning. It has an oily, silicone gel-like consistency. It applies well, but can be messy for overnight wear. Although I did follow the instructions to cover my pillow for protection of this product overnight, I found it to be too messy and inconvenient to use regularly. Especially if that requires washing my hair twice within twelve hours. That is counterproductive to preventing hair breakage, especially on white hair.

This deep conditioner has an interesting smell to it that I did NOT care for. I left it on my hair for 15 minutes and it did nothing for my hair conditiong wise. I could NOT easily comb through my hair after I rinsed it and did NOT notice any difference in my hair for the better. Would NOT recommend this product!!!
