This thing is the best!!  I bought it because I don't have to replace the filter for 6 months!!! It was worth every penny to have good clean water for my grandkids to drink. tge brita taste great and hokds a lot of water. i have a big water bottle that tge family uses for hotn cold water. with this i fill it up with water abd ut filters. in tge big water bottle i add a funnel. i place the brita spout above the funnel and it fills the large water bottle. no need to keep paying $8 fir k arge water bottle. i get the same taste at a discount and still have fresh healthy water

best water filter ever

We have well water, via a pump near the house. With the severe drought conditions we've been experiencing over the past few years, the water table has dropped a good deal. The end result is foul tasting water as the ground water is not in good supply. My first "batch" of filtered and purified water was on a par with high quality bottled water. (And a LOT cheaper, too!) It holds 27 cups, equivalent to almost 7 quarts. 

The price was also very affordable as I'm on Social Security. Win-Win!

i has to stop drinking water bottles because of the particles, so i needed to get a water filter brita 27 cups because i drink a lot of water.  i was told by friends to get the brita,boy were they right.  i love the taste and it comes with one filter.  the filter just needs to be changed out every 6 months to a year.  and it's like 35 for two,  so that is great! i would DEFINITELY recommend this brita 27cup

This water filter is great for a home with one or two people. The filtered water tastes good.  I would recommend this water filter. I am impressed by the quality,  also.  

I wish I came with a white lid and filter chamber since we've recently been warned about black plastics for cooking, etc.

Love it for 2 person house

I transferred the Brita Standard filter I was using in the pitcher to install it, but the filter is loose and doesn't fit snugly. Because of that, some tap water isn't being filtered and is flowing down below.

The Brita filter included with the dispenser fits perfectly.
However, the filter I previously purchased for use in the pitcher is slightly loose in size.

Is there a separate filter specifically made for the Dispenser? As far as I know, they're all supposed to be compatible.

Something is wrong.

I have a under sink tap filter I use at home that has a little better flavor water. But if you travel for work, live in an apartment or something this is a great alternative. takes out the chlorine, which I have a mild allergy to and gives good drinkable water.

This Brita filter/dispenser does three things for me: get the nasty chlorine out of my drinking water, make it easy to fill drinking vessels, save me from buying roundabout 100 plastic bottles of purified water every month. 

Brita does just that. Doesn't filter the minerals that cause limescale - really, really bad in my Tucson tap water. But the Brita Elite filter doesn't promise to. That requires an expensive, elaborate reverse osmosis setup. 

Still running the first filter. No leaks. Excellent product at the price-point.

Three months continuous use

Been drinking out out plastic bottles for the longest, so a big save on the environment. After the 3 months, when you need to change the filter, black stuff started to appear at the bottom. I believe it was the material inside the filter. Was a great indication to change the filter.

We've only used it for a short time but it seems like a good dispenser. The only issue is that it is very small and has to be refilled very often. We had the competitor brand which was larger but did not filter out as many contaminents as this one. Would still recommend for a small household.

To be honest, I absolutely love Britta pictures. I've been using them for years. I put out the $37 or whatever it was for this one thinking that would last me - however in the third day. It cracked right above the spout , because of the price and my love for Britta, I was careful with it so I am thoroughly disappointed that cracks developed around the spout although it's not leaking yet. But now I'm afraid to fill it because the weight will make the cracks worse and I'm disabled so it makes it really hard to return it.. so yeah, as much as I love Berta, this one disappointed.
