I love my countertop system. Brita Hub Instant Powerful Countertop Water Filter System. Have had it a few months and it makes a big difference in the taste and smell of the water.  But - Curious if there is a way to purchase another reservoir?  I am elderly and lifting the reservoir worries me that I might break it some day.  Be good to have a replacement on hand, just in case!

Good value if you can get it on sale. 

I prefer this countertop model as appose to the brita pitchers. The filter is suppose to last 6 months and is easy to install. No soaking of the hub filter is required unlike other brita filters. The pitcher filters sometimes leak carbon particals into the water even after soaking them. this newer model doesn't seem to do that at all.

Aesthetically it looks nice on the counter. 

The body's materials could be higher end but overall it's ok. The base is a little unstable so it needs to be placed on a level and stable surface. Also you cant move the machine around when its filled with water or it will leak.

It's a very basic machine with no temperature control. I suggest filtering water into a pitcher and refrigerating it if you want to have cold water.

I hope to see more improvements in the future with a sturdier body, and possible temperature control.

Overall, I'm happy with the machine and would recommend.

Good counter top filter

It was a little finicky to set up but it finally worked and it works well.  Quiet and water taste great.

Water tastes great for drinking, ice, coffee & tea...perfect for me. I have had it for a year & a half or more.

Good product. I am drinking better water now. Water test is quite good now compare to tap water with chlorine smell.
It is bit noisy when drain water out but not as motor sound. Product worth a value.

I've been enjoying my Hub but shortly after 1 year of use, the spout is now leaking. I need to put a large cup whenever it's not in use. Wondering if this is an issue that can be resolved. I haven't been able to find anything.

Leaky after 1 year

I love this unit. It's unfortunate that the filter replacement light just doesnt reset after replacing the filter. Everything else about it is great.

Just set my unit up and decided to test and see how much better the water would be then tap. Tap showed 74 ppm while Brita came in at 165 - what the heck?????

TDS numbers very disappointing

Have tried TWO; both had same exact problem. Reservoir is filled, and I can hear pump, but water does NOT transfer and "add water" light comes on. Tried everything I can think of: different water levels in reservoir, changing base position, tugging on hose, reinstalling filter, verifying reservoir valve works. I don't think water is even getting from reservoir to filter as filter nipples are completely dry when I remove.

Will NOT transfer water; tried two different units

Just received this today.  Ran 1/2 a gallon of distilled water through it as it had never had anything through it before.  Then added the water I was going to drink.  When the water poured out it was extremely cloudy.  I assumed this was air bubbles in the water.  Put my glass of water in the fridge for 1/2 an hour.  When I compared my filtered water 1/2 hour later to straight out of the tap water the filtered water was still cloudier.  Looking at it closely it had all sorts of miniscule white flakes throughout it.
