[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for about 3 or 4 years now. It's a great pitcher, looks great, does the job, I am happy with this pitcher. But if you're looking for a stainless steel pitcher, that one is not for you! The stainless steel is only on the outside, the pitcher inside is fully plastic. And that is probably the one thing I don't like, when I'm washing it, water gets in between the plastic and stainless steel, but it's not a big deal.

Stainless steel Brita finishes off my stainless themed kitchen... had to have it and glad I did.. much sleeker and  professional looking!

Love it!

Its heavy, though most filtration systems probably are. I researched extensively the dif brands available at my local Walmart (shout out to Broken Arrow!) and this looked to be the best choice. It may cost a few extra bucks but the steel doesn't tarnish easily (never use bleach on steel appliances btw= instant rust) and the thinner design vs a round pitcher frees up fridge space. Amazon or EBay filters are really cheap... Oh! If you get it place under 'closed' faucet before filling up. If you try to stick it under an 'already running' faucet the water runs down into the side panels and slowly leaks out. Even if you're quick. For the first month I thought it had a crack and was dealing with puddles all over the cabinet and in the fridge. Plan to fill after clearing/washing out sink so you can just set it down. Holding it up is just too heavy. To fill from empty, you need to fill reservoir, let drain down, and fill once again. It doesn't take but a couple minutes, and you won't have any leaky handle if you don't try to overfill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love Brita products and have 2 pitchers we use regularly. Was so excited to see a stainless steel option!  Unfortunately we had to return it within 2 weeks. It must be a design flaw, but it leaked all the time and water would get in between the stainless and the plastic and it was just impossible to clean. Really wanted to love it but for now, our regular plastic ones function better!

Love the look. However the top resevoir can spill into the handle letting water settle into the bottom of the pitcher which overflows onto the counter. Then, what ever is left pooled in the bottom plate, spills when you go to pick it up and pour again. Just takes longer to get the pitcher filled nicely since have to be weary of the water level at the handle side. Not a fan of the filter life indicator either. If you blink you miss it and have to pour again to see it.

We were so pleased with ourselves when we bought this pitcher because it has a really beautiful design, unfortunately it leaks. Other reviews state the leak originating from the handle, but upon closer inspection, the leak seems to be coming right from the bottom of the pitcher. For me, this is a deal breaker when it comes to countertop water pitchers. Just a friendly warning; don't be seduced by the sleek design, unless you don't mind having water puddles on your countertop. I'm returning mine.

Too bad it leaks

I bought this a few days ago. The reason why I picked up this expensive brita pitcher is because it is CLEARLY stated that it is a healthier option due to the material used, in this case stainless. I dont like plastic stuffs in my kitchen due to health concerns, it doesnt matter if it is bpa free or whatever, plastic is not health friendly at all.
And, when I pay for it and open it up home, OMG!!! Whats the sense of stainless material used on it if there is a plastic layer covering the whole pitcher inside out???? The water will have contact with plastic like any other cheaper brita pitcher. I felt so stupid of buying this stuff. Instead of using the stainless material as a healthier option, it was just used as an option for better design of the product. I just returned it to the store and exchanged for the 16box cheaper pitcher.

Loved the design and capacity but after the first week I realized the design of the water reservoir is just terrible. Looking closely inside I noticed a small opening near the handle that if overfilled or moved during the water is filtering thru it leaks into the handle and out the bottom. One month after pieces of the plastic at the bottom started to chip away and break leaving this jug a leaking mess. Now three months after I just want to throw it in the garbage because it leaves a mess in my fridge constantly.

Horrible pitcher. When you tilt it or fill the filtering reservoir to cover the filter, it leaks all over the counter. Seems to go down the handle and leak from the bottom. Wicked annoying. Wish my last pitcher had not broken! Too late to return too so we are stuck with it until it breaks. Too bad they last so long!

Stainless Steel Pitcher leaks

A lot of money for a water pitcher that leaks. Engineering of separation of cavities is really poor, making it hard to separate.

LEAKS Not worth the money or hassle of returning
