I love the longlast filter because it's lasting me such a long time! When I use to purchase the regular filter for it, I felt like the longevity of it wasn't as great!

So this fits nicely in there, plus its just for me so I think its the perfect size. This is a good investment since my fridge doesn't have a water system so before I was buying bottle water and putting them in the fridge.

Every time I went shopping I would pick up filters and I began to watch Brita move toward the future with sleek new styles and a variety of colors. My kids would always say to me, "Just but a new one and throw the old one away." Well, my grandmother would roll over in her grave if I simply discarded something still functional just because there were newer and prettier models. So....while I kept the old one and will use it forever, I bought a Red Mini Plus and couldn't be more pleased. Perfect size and convenience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from another brita filter because the lid did not stay put.  This one has an improved lid that stays put and doesn't fall off. I did take one star off because putting the entire filtration top takes some getting used to. To get it to fit you need to put the lid on the bottom part and put it in all together, if you try to add the lid after you have added the bottom part to the pitcher it does not close completely and it tends to sit tilted to one side. Once you get used to doing properly it is easy to clean and change.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased this pitcher in teal.  It's a beautiful pitcher.  The lid does not snap in place and falls out if you turn pitcher too far when pouring.  Also it took me a few tries to seat lid after installing filter.  Plastic connectors appear kind of flimsy so time will tell how the pouring spout hinge will hold up over time.  (Not a deal breaker but an observation). On the whole it will serve its purpose and the color brightens up my fridge.

I loved using this pitcher for the past three months, but this morning I found a micro-crack on the bottom of the pitcher that caused a slow leak. This pitcher has seen nothing but usual sink-to-counter-to-fridge activity and has not experienced any droppage at all, and hadn't seen the inside of a dishwasher yet. I was shocked and saddened to find the crack and am thinking that the plastic is too brittle for daily use.

Brita or Brittle?

I have been loving this pitcher! However, after just a couple months of use, with no dropping of the sort or harsh handling, I noticed my counter was wet, and found a tiny crack along the bottom/side of the pitcher! I haven't even had the pitcher long enough to need to change the filter! Otherwise, the taste and quality of this water has been nothing other than phenomenal.

I bought this size pitcher for the convenience of my small home. Once filter is installed, you cannot snap the lid close it just sit theres loosely. The only way is to remove the filter, and well that's simply just not a functional practice.
