[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the older model and now I have 3. Unlike the new model, it has a pointed spout so you can pour the water into  a bottle  without  spilling it. It also has a square bottom that helps keep it from falling over in the sink. In order to put the filter in, you will need to take the “whole”top off. I use my fingernails to gently lift it up. Some say they can't get the filter in correctly. No problem.!!  The filter has a slit in it so just guide it down onto the crossbar of the pitcher. Wiggle if necessary.

I used to have a Brita pitcher before, and when this corona virus happened I can't find it, the reason why ordered one from you. I do love this style of pitcher better. I has a window that will let me know if it's time for me to change the filter, plus I can refill water in it without taking out the whole cover. 
This is more convenient to use

Better than my old one.

I don't like drinking tap water and bottled water runs out within a week of purchasing. This is a great alternative. I don't have to worry about running out of bottled water and I can drink as much water as I want. I am the only person drinking out of the pitcher so I know the filter will last a long time. I am not sure how to work the electronic settings for when to replace the filter, so I chart it in a note pad and it works perfectly.

Amazing purchase!

I purchased this pitcher because I moved into an apartment without a filtered water dispenser built into the refrigerator.  The water tasted like it had a high chlorine content.  I was buying cases of water and that was pretty cumbersome with a torn rotator cuff.  It was also bad for the environment.  My Brita water tastes every bit as crisp and clean as bottled water! I feel better knowing that I am also helping out the environment.  I love the size of the pitcher.  It's just the right size for me.  I can easily lift it with my bad arm.  I purchased the pitcher with the red colored top because it is my favorite color.  I'm very happy with my purchase!

It's the best!

I can definitely taste the difference after add tap water into this filter. I use Great Value filters and it still works fine. 

I love tap water, but after trying a filter and tasting the slight difference between the two, I'm hooked on using  this filter whenever I can.

I had to replace my decade-old Atlantis model, which is now discontinued, with this next closest model recommended to me by Brita. This pitcher holds the same capacity as my old one but is slimmer and fits way better inside the door handle of my small fridge. I also really like the LED indicator on the top that reminds me when to replace the filter.

Umm...I guess we are supposed to take the filter out before we put the lid on? I do not remember doing that in the old days. Maybe, I have the filter in wrong, but can not push any harder. Shared photos.

Lid does not fit with filter in?

I ordered online and it came in a box with brown paper tossed in.  The pitcher doesn't come in a box(just plastic and a little cardboard wrapping).  When I pulled it out of the box and plastic wrap there was a big crack down the front of the pitcher.  Have to send it back thanks to the poor packing job when they sent it.

I recently moved and my Brita pitcher was damaged in the move. The lid on this does not fit after you remove it. The "funnel" system to refill the pitcher is annoying since you can't see how much water is in there.  Poor design. The plastic is thinner than the last pitcher that I  just bought 2 years ago. It also had a scratch near the handle. I'm very disappointed. I'm a long time Brita user since the 90's.  I'll just use this until post covid and I can go out to a store and properly shop. But Brita you should save your reputation and pull this out of your line.  It's a fail.

I Wish I Read the Reviews First

Cant get the lid ti dit on. Tried several times and a few friends tried. Would not buy this model!!! Lid only fits if filter is removed which defeats its purpose!!!
