If you have even a shred of practical applicable knowledge in terms of plumbing, this will take you less than 10 minutes to install. If you are a complete newbie and you have never had to install anything on the faucet, or even do the smallest DIY job, it might be a little tricky, but the biggest issue you're going to have is just sorting through the various different adapters that are included with this which make sure it fits on to almost any sink. I do think that the taste is noticeably better, although full disclosure, I don't use Brita brand filters, I use compatible filters, but as far as this system/setup goes, it's very very easy. easy. took me about 3 and 1/2 minutes from start to finish. And it's relatively compact, so it's also pretty easy to work with. you don't need a second person to hold part of it or whatever, and I didn't use any tools. Just screwed in the adapter bass and attached the filtration system to that then popped one of my filters on it, works like a dream, really simple and straightforward.

After a decade of daily use my much-needed Brita became so difficult to switch between settings that I broke the knob. Rust and/or lime must have jammed it. My well water tastes okay, but it's not pretty...
Thus the need for Brita. Without it I'd be buying gallons of drinking water.
Thumbs up, five stars  all that and more.

I like the idea of this product,  I  thought it would help with  not purchasing bottle water. unfortunately that didn't happen,  it is easy to install, true.  But I have only had mine, a couple months, it leaks from both the water faucet and filter. I am going to purchase another one- but next time,  it won't be the plastic one.  I also want to say, I talked to the maintenance man,  its not how I installed it,  there's a malfunction in it Thank-you

I started out with a pitcher and Britta pitcher filter but had to switch over to the tap Bitta system because of arthritis in my hands made it too painful to lift the pitcher, and I'm so glad I did! I now use it to fill my empty plastic bottles to keep in the fridge and I fill my ice cube trays with it, and my coffee pot!

This Brita faucet filter is convenient, easy to attach, and simple to use. I like that it connects right to the faucet, so I do not have to keep refilling a pitcher or take up space in the fridge. The installation was pretty easy, and the indicator is helpful because it lets you know when it is time to replace the filter. The water tastes cleaner, and it is efficient for everyday use like drinking water, coffee, cooking, or filling bottles. Overall, it is a good option if you want filtered water without much hassle.

Easy and effective filter

I like these filter systems just fine. How ever only turn them on oh so ever gently, cuz they flow really hard and spray everywhere. They work just fine with a slow stream :0) We put one in the kitchen and bathroom. The filters are spendy but if they last even half as long as they say I'd be happy. I tend to change any H20 filters more frequently cuz I'm allergic to most water even bottled water. I only use Ice Mountain :0)

I like that these are somewhat affordable for their purpose.  Putting the attachment on your faucet can be difficult untill you figure out you have to push it up as you try to screw it on without crossing threading.  Be aware that these units can become nasty with build up and mold so using the attachment indefinitely is not a good idea, so take it off occasionally clean it make sure your not defeating your purpose of clean filtered water!  I have purchased both unit styles by Brita so when it comes to ease of use I prefer the more expensive one because it is much easier to switch the valve.  The last one I purchased was the cheaper unit and I'm disappointed because the valve doesn't close completely so it leaks unfiltered water while I'm trying to get filtered water.  but that's something I've learned after purchasing 4  new units over time the are plastic so quality can be lacking that's why I say fairly affordable for it purpose.

This is the third filter I've bought and I've bought the filter system 2 times. The light on both systems never turned on to alert me when the filter is doing well VS need replacement. This third filter purchase ended with the water spewing out the side of the filter. This is crazy that all of my purchases with this brand have been faulty. 

I will be moving on to a different brand all together. I will never recommend this product to anyone.

Don't waste your money/ Faulty product

A few days ago I purchased this water filter I used water test strips by Tespert  the results lead shows up using the filter side and without the city has zero Lead.... the filter did lower Chlorine too zero and PH was improved the smell and taste was good  but oddly added Lead which is very concerning 😟 the test results in photo on left is the filter and the right is tap water

The Brita model for faucet illustrated had 3 different jets. I know this model for having already bought it and the illustration on the advertisement is that of the model having 3 jets. The one sold was only two. This is a new model that I didn’t want to buy.
