I have had these a few months and overall I am disappointed. 
My toes are pushed forward when walking downhill causing pressure on my big toe. Something I've never experienced in any shoe. 
However they are sturdy and waterproof  .   I have plantar fasciitis and they do not assist in any way. 
However they are useable but I will have to invest in another pair to ensure a nice long hike is not encumbered by aching feet, ankles and sore big toes

Brooks Running

Incredible shoe! Please never stop making these. So comfortable for collapsed arches and for wide feet. And they look great. I'm on my third pair and each has lasted at least 2 years, almost every day use, so they're very good value for the price. They clean up really well and are rainproof because of the leather and the black ones are smart enough to wear at work. Can wear them all year round. Have told all my friends.

Unsurpassable for wide feet/low arches

Been a fan of Brooks for a number of years now, can't fault the support and comfort for over pronation, they have definitely kept me walking for pleasure.  Bought these for work (I'm a nurse) and from the minute I put them on, wished I'd bought them years ago…., cured my knee and hip pain almost instantly.  Not the most attractive trainer but I'll take comfort over fashion any day. Thank you Brooks.

Wish I'd bought them years ago.

I suffer from pain in my spine and knees and ordered these shoes to give me more support when walking, not for running which l can no longer do. I normally take size 7 or 7.5 and ordered an 8 but they were still a little too short in length, although there was no problem fitting the orthotics l wear into them. I didnt try walking outside in them as l knew l had to return them. These were the only option for someone wanting a plainer style in leather but l would have preferred a more attractive shoe, l'm not quite ready yet to sacrifice looks completely for function although that may change!

Good support

I bought these for walking. And wanted shoes that were waterproof, comfortable and able to cope with my very wide feet. The extra wide option on these trainers is perfect and the half sizes mean the shoes fit like a glove and are very well cushioned. Extremely comfortable.

Extremely comfortable

I had really high hopes for these shoes as I love my brooks running shoes 
I purchased these as work shoes 
These are not as comfortable  and make a terrible squeaking noise when I walk in them

Not impressed

Not very comfortable. Perhaps the wide fit would be better for me although my feet are not particularly wide. These pinch my feet causing some numbness.

Bought for work in a school where I'm on my feet all day. Quite heavy compared to normal trainers, but very comfortable and keep my feet dry on wet playgrounds. Bought wide fit to allow for bunion. Perfect!

Comfortable supportive trainer

Very comfortable, supportive of the ankle and foot, good non-slip sole. I have had several pairs of Brooks trainers and I like that the sizing is consistent, especially important when ordering online.

Comfy, supportive walking trainers.

I didn't buy these for running. I have Adrenaline gts 23 for that. These are for everyday use. They are excellent, so comfortable and have the arch support for me in exactly the right place.
