Very comfortable. The wide fit is great, no breaking in needed, perfect from the word go. I will be buying a second pair. I have a pair of Ghost 15 and was concerned that these might not be as comfortable, but my concern disappeared straight away. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Excellent.

I bought the Ghost 16 parkrun limited edition, which looks great and get noticed at my weekly attendance to parkruns. I was coming from the ghost 15 which was my very day all rounder running shoe of choice. Same can be said for the new variant. Comfortable, responsive and confidence building everyday running shoe. Not a speed shoe (get the Hyperion for that). 

Only niggle: The laces are a bit short when tying a heel lock. Have to do very small bows to have enough lace.

Great every day runner that looks great. One minor niggle...

Awesome trainer, very fast and responsive, I put a good time in on my usual 10km route on the first outing, unfortunately the fit was just not right for me, and had to return after the fourth run when they started to rub. I would definitely look at getting another pair in a different width if available.

Very fast at a great price

I loved my Ghost 15s. However, a single change to the Ghost 16 meant I sent them back. The right foot was a superb fit. My left foot is slightly smaller and was slopping around. The 16s have a slight "bump" in the inside of the sole next to the big toe joint and the interaction caused blisters on the left foot only. Even with the laces really tight. Which is a shame because my right foot was really happy :-)

There's a change to the sole...

Be wearing brookes running shoes for past 15 years. I believe the style and design suits my feet. After purchasing my new pair of brookes ghost I've managed my first 5k run with success before may. Hoping for many more encounters on a long journey ahead.

The best trainers in the world for comfort. Literally removed my long term foot pain issue with sesamoiditis due the super comfy and supportive foam. I absolutely love these .

Brooks GHOST 16 - the best trainers EVER !

Been using the Ghost series shoes since I got fitted at a running shop years ago , the 16's are another improvement, they are lighter and more cushioned than the 15's and my go to shoe , highly recommended

My first Brooks shoes, and I must say, they're a must-have for anyone on their feet for long hours. Solid support, a cloud-like feel, and pure comfort with every step.

Ghost 16

Purchased the limited edition Parkrun shoes over new year . Very comfortable runners, bright in colour so very useful when running at night . Ran 40k so far - so far I'm impressed with them.

Great pair of runners

Great shoes great design super comfortable Brooks are the best make out there for runners. The fit is always bang on for me and great balance between speed and comfort. Ideal if you have dodgy knees like me as they are great at shock absorption. Look great too!

Been running in Ghost's for many years , and now there current model is so different . The foam sole have to much compression in them  and are too soft in the toe area causing the foot to roll.  Where brooks and all the other manufacturers have gone wrong is that the current trend is for a plush cushion sole with a floaty feel, but this requires a specific foam density for a specific weigh to get all the benefits of the shoe, ie comfort,  support and feedback. I where a size 10 and know other runners that where the same size shoe but there weights range between 68 kg to 120 kg , so they can't all be getting the same amount of support and cushioning . Brooks have designed the new ghost for the average size runner and unfortunately the performance of this new design falls away very quickly when you move away from the average  size. If brooks wants to continue with these super cushioned soles then they should have a range of different density sole with a recommended weight for each density to get the perfect performing shoe.
