Toner cartridge has a below-average lifespan.

Offers similar prices to other retailers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've consistently used genuine Brother toner cartridges and have never had an issue with them. The reliability alone makes them worth it—no leaks, no errors, and no compatibility problems. They work exactly as expected every time!

The only one I will purchase EVER!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good price. Good quality. Always pleased.

BROTHER TONER AND DRUM UNTI

I purchased a genuine Brother drum for my printer. It works great, but like so many proprietary things, it is too expensive, especially as my printer has been discontinued and is no longer supported. However, I have had trouble with "compatible" parts and decided it was best to purchase a Brother product.

Works great, but expensive

This is necessary along with the toner cartridge for the printer to work properly. This is the first time my printer didn't tell me the toner was low and I was getting very faded copies, so thought it was the drum, but it actually was the toner, so I didn't really need the drum at this point. Very disappointed my printer did not show that the toner was low.

Necessary for MFC2705DW

Samsclub.com

I've had the same issue as others who have posted. The toner cartridge does not seem to last as long as expected. I'm not sure why this would be happening. When I first purchased this printer, the cartridge I used lasted a long time. = (

Less Print than I Expected

brother-usa.com

Brother

Rated fair because drum has ink but the approx 12,000 pages should be more like 300 pages. Unless you are printing one word per page then 12,000 would make sense.

Comes with ink

I bought this drum in March of this year (2020) and I am already getting a message saying that the optical photoconductor (IE The drum) is 'near the end of its life.' I use this printer for personal, rather than business use, so I definitely have not printed anywhere near the number of pages a new drum is supposed to handle. I'm frustrated - the drum was like 1/3-1/2 of the cost of a new printer, why did I even bother? The whole thing is particularly irksome because I am about to have finals and need to print a bunch of materials just about now. Would not recommend.

Did not even last a full year with light use

Well I paid $20 ona roughly $80 item for special delivery and it still took 10 days to get here so not sure what the extra $20 was for?

Customer Service

I use my laser printer for many small projects, but never abused. My drum states 86% life, and suddenly, after a print job I had horizontal lines across all my pages. I have gone through the process of cleaning the drum, the corona wire, and even attempted to find the "glass" that was suggested to be cleaned on the "roof" (could not find that on my unit). Didn't make any difference, and the drum itself has green pulling off the edges! Not sure I want to keep buying brother laser printers if I can't even get a full life cycle out of a DRUM!

Brother DRUM has 1/4 the life expected.

Brother DR630 Imaging Drum unit with black plastic body and green release lever, front-facing view showing DR-630 label, designed for laser print technology and compatible as a replacement part for Brother printers.
