For around $190, this printer is an excellent deal. The print quality is sharp, the printing speed is impressive, and the wireless setup was quick and easy. Brother laser printers are known for reliability, and this one delivers exactly what I needed for home and office use. The compact design saves space, while the features and performance feel like they belong in a much more expensive printer. Very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, dependable monochrome laser printer.

Best printer I've boutht for the money!

Easy to print from Mac and iPhone. I was able to connect to wifi (5 GHz) with out problems. It's also not very loud. It's compact and can be place in a standard computer desk.  I am planning to use after market Toner after the original runs out. This is one of the reasons I chose brother.

Great printer and quick installation

Absolutely blown away by the level of quality and how substantial this printer is for such an accessible price point. Ease of setup really surprised me. 

We are a low volume printing household. So a laser printer was best for our intermittent and small amount of printing. 

I didn't think we could get a wifi laser printer with scanner and copier for such a low price!

Brother's HL-L2465DW is a well built monochrome 3 in 1 with several nice features:

It can connect to your computer/laptop using wifi or a USB cable. Information on Brother's support site will tell you if your device is supported, and provide the drivers to download. I had no difficulty connecting it to my Win 8.1 laptop. Mobile printing is also available using Brother's app. 

The lid covering the scan glass lifts enough to place an open book down for copying.

The access to the toner cartridge is a drop drawer on the front of the machine, and installation was a snap.

About the toner: the included cartridge is expected to deliver about 700 pages, and the least expensive refill currently costs $61. It will be some time before I need that, but since I'm replacing a color inkjet printer that was doing mostly black printing, it will likely be economical over the long term.

Lastly, the online price for this printer has dropped to $149 since I purchased mine on August 8th. I hope you get the benefit of my poor timing!

Brother Canada FR PROD

Had an old printer that needed to go. Tired of needing color ink when I don't use color. This is perfect. It does everything I need and with the remote printing, wow,  something I never had and love. When looking for a new printer,  this brand was rated much better than the name brand I had and didn't want to buy again.

Although it does have a large footprint, it is just what I needed. I do not print very often and since this is a laser printer, the ink never dries out because it is in powder form. It was easy to set up and connect to my devices. You just have to play the opt out game to keep from getting toner automatically.

I have only used the printer to print less than 200 sheets of paper . It's all ready tell me toner is low . I knew the price to replace was on the high but I do expect to get the amount of sheets to advertise. So far the printer works great but the cost per sheet to print makes it not worth the it. Will let you know how the replacement toner does.

We've had nothing but trouble trying to get this printer to work. I print from my Mac, my husband prints from Linex.  Both computers initially were able to print a couple of times, then there were a host of error messages. " Printer rejecting print jobs, " Don't recognize printer," " No driver found" and on and on. We tried switching from wireless to USB. Still issues, went to Brother web site to get driver. Didn't even list model number, but checked Bothers data based and it suggested a driver. Downloaded that  Computer doesn't recognize printer. Google says it's driverless. OK, but computers are searching for driver. Hooking this up should not be this hard. It's going back to Walmart.

Shouldn't be this hard to set up

Bought this Brother HL-L2460DW expecting a workhorse for legal docs, but the starter toner crapped out after about 150 pages. What a scam-feels like planned obsolescence to force you into buying more supplies ASAP. Prints okay when it wants to, but the rage isn't worth it.
Don't fall for the trap and get sucked into having to buy toner when it's barely even been used.
