I really like this printer. I wanted a color laser printer because I don't do a lot of color printing and the ink cartridges kept drying up on me. When I would use my ink jet printer, it would go thru about a 2 minute cleaning process before I could print (and using up my ink). My laser printer is ready when I am. The only negative is the extremely high cost of Brother toner cartridges. I would recommend this printer for a home or small office.

This a great wireless printer. I don't print very often. I can go over a month with out the need to print anything. However, the the printer is always ready to print, I do t need to restart it or check the ink. It just prints.

Highly Recommended

I only need to print things every few weeks. I was tired of wasting money on ink that would dry up. I read lots of reviews on lots of machines and decide to try this one. The set up was a breeze and prints just fine. I love it. And I can print straight from my phone. And no need to hook up my laptop to it!

This was the only printer I could find available on the interner which met my needs and the price was OK.

A satisfying purchase.

For home office use, this is a good printer. The toner cartridges are pricier compared to my inkjet printer, but they last a LOT longer.  It does print kind of slow, especially when printing on both sides, but we have not had any issues with it so far.

Great home use printer

Have used it 2 1/2 months.  Printer is used for light residential printing by empty nesters.  I do wished I had searched for a all-in-one printer, but I got in a hurry and didn't.  My wife was quite happy with our older Dell b/w laser printer, but I started having problems after updating to a new laptop. The setup of the Brother  HL-L3270CDW  went smoothly with no hangups.  We are still one the toner that came with the printer!!!  Figured it would have ran out by now.  Thank you Brother for a fantastic color printer at a affordable  price!

Great Color Laser Printer

This printer was fine while it worked. The color quality is poor and inconsistent, but okay for office use. Unfortunately after two years it stopped working. Brother support said it needed repaired. They referred me to a third-party company and they said they don't do repairs. Now I have a dead printer and a bunch of spare printer cartridges. What a waste of money and environmental. I replaced it with a 20+ year old Xerox printer that still works.

I have had this printer for about 18 months and printed 3,478 pages (2,284 BW and 1,199 color). I have had to replace all four toners twice now. Which okay.. there are a lot of factors that affect how quickly the toner is used. I do not like how expensive the toner is but I researched the prices before buying the printer. I did not however, research the price of the drum replacements because it is advertised you will get close to 18,000 pages. I am less than 5,000 pages and one of the drums needs to be replaced and it costs roughly 40% of what I paid for the printer. I spent a lot of money (for me) on this printer and now I need to almost pay for a new one in order for it to work again. I am disappointed. I took a chance on Brother because I love my label machine. I do not recommend Brother.

This printer may be great when it works properly but from the moment I brought it home, it has had problems.  I immediately had issues with the black toner and on troubleshooting with support, I was told that it must be a problem with the toner and that Brother did not warrant the starter cartridges and wouldn't do anything to fix it.  I purchased a new black cartridge and it also smeared black shadows across the page.  Brother still has yet to offer any solution or help to the issue.

Read reviews talking about black toner spewing dirt all over pages, but I disregarded them as I have used Brother printers for 20+ years... Well, lo and behold, about 70 pages in and I started getting dirty pages. First time just cleaned cartridge & drum, 2nd time, ditto... but as I turned unit over, toner fell out.  A lot of toner. A defective cartridge? Or does this printer start malfunction when I'm in duplex mode? Regradless, I've run at the max 70 pages through. A new unit should not function like this -- or shall I say -- MALFUNCTION???
