This is my 2nd MFC-L5700DW for my office. It does everything our Ricoh copier does.
2 sided printing, toner saver, scans and faxes. The only downside is the scanned copies are a bit larger in size (KB); but definitely is do-able. Toner costs are cheap too ! I found the best deal at Sam's which surprised me. I usually buy from an East coast electronics company.

I am extremely satisfied with purchase of this laser printer. It was easy to install and had it unpacked an using within 15 minutes. I have another color laser and wanted to save money on ink. If you buy the large cartridge you will get approximately 9,000 copies for roughly $90.
Fast printing and runs very quit. I would highly recommend for small business or home use.

Very happy with purchase

I bought this as a replacement for another Brother MFC that was over 10 years old.  This one works better than the old one.  It takes almost no time to warm up to print whereas the old one took several seconds before printing.

Works great.

It has all the bells and whistles required for all my printing and scanning needs.  The only downfall is the price of the replacement toner is very expensive.

Yes I would buy another one.

I like how this paper printer can print/scan or print via usb; you can connect  hardwire; or WiFi.  The printer heats up quickly even though I'm in no rush. The feeder works wonderfully. It has all of it for a b/w laser toner at an affordable price.

Second one for office (NC and MD) ... great printer, copy, fax etc.  Both offices are very pleased with the printer.  It is big.  No problems.  I prefer Brothers over any other B/W laser printer.  Support is great.  And the price is right.

Brother MFC-L5700 DW

Fast copying and printing. Great copying a stack of pages to USB pdf format. But a pain to set up the ethernet connection! Had to input static address and network mask. It should automatically connect to a small switch! The wireless requires a switch. A phone won't connect just to the printer.

Could have had five stars

Great printer. Fast and very good quality. Had a little trouble hooking it up to my wireless wifi but eventually it decided to work with my computer and finish set up.

I bought this printer in January for my tax office thinking it was going to be efficient and already have problems, copies are coming out faded and I replaced the toner twice and still printing faded copies. didn't purchase the warranty thinking it was not going to be a big deal but please don't make a mistake don't buy this printer. I'm stuck with this useless printer

Not good quality very disappointed with purchase

I purchased this printer in August.  It worked great until now.  When I use the feeder for copies of documents, I am getting lines in the copies in is producing.  This is very frustrating and not sure how to correct
