I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of this inexpensive machine. I bought a name brand machine during Covid and turned right around and sold it because it was so hard to use. This machine is easy! I've made new bobbins and threaded it without any problem. It sees like a dream. I highly recommend it!

Great machine for the money!

Love this machine, especially the machine self-threader,  But the overall machine works perfectly. Also, I love the fact that it's easy to move around. I have and have used the Brother serger and that is also a great machine!  I'm a very experienced seamstress, and would strongly recommend this machine.

Great machine!!

Arrived safely, very well packaged, everything listed in the ad was in the boxes.  It is brand new as advertised, works well so far, I like it.....Great colors, well deisgned,  like having one chord to use instead of multiple chords like some machines need.   I would recommend buying this machine from Walmart.  Good price, fast shipment, well packaged.

A Great Brother sewing machine for good price

Returned this as someone that has sewed for over 50 years I found this machine hard to deal with as every time you changed favorite even within cotton blends you had to change tension constantly.  It was like tension setting would not hold.  Found that aggravating.

I said I would recommend this item, this is a brother $120.. sewing machine that is enuff to tell you it is basic machine made out of plastic and if used a lot it won't last for more than couple of years, if not used much it might double that, I use this strictly for the free arm for sewing around bag necks. Light and simple to use on cloth items

Beginner machine for cheap price

It would be nice if the sewing machine came with the DVD referred to in the manual. I had to search Youtube to find a demo for it.

It's pretty easy to use, but the stitches are very loose. (I'm still trying to correct that.) All the parts are nicely made and durable, The regular sewing machine features are in different areas, but it's not hard to adapt to. 
All in all, it's a very nice machine at a great price!

Great Price %26 Durable!

I've used this machine for making lots of face masks after my old machine finally quit. It's great, although I haven't tried any of the specialty stitches yet. From my research when I was looking for a new one, sounds like most don't give a hard copy of the manual. This Brother machine does and it also has an instructions CD which is really helpful. It does use different size bottom bobbins, so I had to buy and wind all new bobbins (the machine comes with 4).

So far this machine has been a good replacement for my old Kenmore 1986 model. It's lighter and has an automatic needle threader and drop in bobbin which I like. It is not as heavy duty as my old machine, but I don't see much anymore so that is fine. I haven't tried out the automatic button holder or sewn on a button yet , but so far I am really enjoying my new machine and I will never use all the stitches. Thanks.

Nice machine with lots of features.

I've owned 8 - 10 sewing over the years. from a reliable but basic 

Singer in the early 1960s through fairly expensive and more complicated in all the years I quilted.  Because my hands would no longer cooperate. I gave up my last machine in 2024.  But I realized I still needed a simple machine to handle hemming %26 repairs %26 such, but could only find lightweight "beginner" machines that couldn't handle heavier fabrics.  This one can handle those (so far) but I found it unusually difficult to set up; it just seems that nothing quite fits smoothly; things slip and change when they shouldn't.  It's manageable, but a bit disappointing. For my needs it's okay, but for more intricate or precise work I wouldn't want it.

Useable but not 100%

I absolutely loved this machine at first, until i began to top stitch with it.  The bobbin seized with oodles of thread bunched under the material and now it wouldn't work. It was the first day I used it!!  I returned it to the store the next day.  I bought it for $129, went to order a new one and they were $200.  Very  disappointed.
