Just a few hiccups with the installation but was able to get the wifi connected and the printer running.  Very nice printer and will cover everything I need to do in my home office.  I generally print between 20-50 pages/monthly but it seems like I was always having to re-order ink cartridges for my HP which was out of date and almost impossible to purchase the cartridges for anymore.  This Brother laser printer is basic but much less expensive to operate and has decent reviews for reliability.   Happy with purchase.

Great monotone printer, very easy to get set-up and running after downloading the printer app and registering for the warranty! Had the printer working in 10 minutes! I can print via a USB cord I had from a previous printer for my home computer and from my cell phone with a wifi connection! Prints clean and crisp copies. Very pleased with this printer!

Great monotone printer

Excellent printer. I got this for my elderly mother who wanted a wireless laser printer with automatic double side capability. Printer was very easy to install and fairly lightweight. My mom is happy so I'm happy. The toner ink coupon code Brother provided doesn't work though. What a shame.

Worth every penny.  This Brother HL-L2420dw is a great investment for your home office, it was easy to install and set up. (I am not tech savey.) it prints like a dream with crisp, clear font. For a$125.00 this is by far the best printer I have ever had. All my others were ink jet printers which I now consider junk. I would purchase this same model again.

Excellent printer!

I was sick of inkjet printers clogging and the price of ink.  so I bought this one that just uses inexpensive toner and will last 10 times as long as an ink cartridge.   You don't get color but who cares, and toner doesn't dry out like cartridges. so far I've printed about a hundred pages on it without a hitch.  The paper tray holds about an entire package.   It was super easy to plug in and start printing.

I use a printer every once in a while so the printer's with liquid dry out by the time I go to use them and cleaning them is just a pain. This is so much easier and so much cheaper even if I used on a daily basis. It only prints in black and white but is all I need for shipping and what I print to save.

Black and white

This is one of the best home printers I have owned. I chose to use the Bluetooth printing option. I had to download the Brothers' app but it was pretty straightforward and self explanatory. Once installed and connected this printer worked wonderfully. The print looks great and the toner (it comes with one black and white one) is more affordable than inkjet ink. It prints fast and the quality is good. It's nice not having to wait on ink to dry once something is printed. I would buy this again and recommend to anyone. Worth the cost.

Great quality prints, fast and worth the cost

The explanation was not very good . I thought it would copy and print but it does not so I need another machine to do all that I need. To do. It is not capable of making a copy from another paper but it will print what you send to it from your email , internet but you cannot copy from another paper nor can you copy photos. And it is black only

Make sure you read and understand every word it sa

The overall quality of this device seems to be quite high and the print quality is good, but it has been difficult to get set up properly.  The single-line LCD display, requiring multiple button pushes to find a desired setting, is both confusing and time-wasting.  After several attempts to change settings and finally getting most of what I wanted, I vowed not to try changing anything again!  The online instructions are confusing and not very helpful, and the recommended software and firmware updates don't seem to happen without difficulties.

Print quality good; setup difficult.

This is not easy to set up. The little screen that you look at when you're setting up WiFi? It is so tiny and does not light up very much. I literally could not hook up the Wi-Fi.
