[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic printer. Set up was quick and easy with the quick start guide. Took maybe 10-12 minutes to load the ink, connect to wifi, and start printing from the app. The lines are crisp and the colors are vibrant. So far I've used it to print notes for work, tickets for a museum, and a gift certificate. When there is an error, the app can take you to a troubleshooting guide for the specific error for a fast fix!

Easy set up for personal use

brother-usa.com

Love this printer. Works beautifully. Colors are sharp. Easy to operate. Other printer was not broken, just way too complicated. Love how the selection tabs are on the front of the unit. Don't have to stand up to push copy or scan.

Love it

walmart.com

Just set it up and so far so good. Fairly easy directions. I only wish they had a little more detailed instructions or pictures. However it didn't take long to figure it out.

Senior citizen that is not tech savvy but for a fee with Brothers tech department - they got my printer up and running! Satisfaction of the customer is very high for these guys! Thank you!

I am an old woman. The directions are well written. I connected my phone and lap to this wonderful printer. I have used many printers in the past, but my the best ones were Brother. I currently have two Brother printers in the home.

EVEN A GRANNY CAN CONNECT

I bought this for home use and am pleased with how it prints. It isn't as crisp or fast as a laser printer, but for an ink jet, it does well. I e printed photos and a lot of text and everything turned out well. Some people have wrote it uses a lot of ink. So far, that has not been my experience. I bought it Sept. ‘26 and have printed roughly 150 pages, mostly B%26W, and still have a lot of ink left.
The reason for four stars is the setup was very difficult. I'm not a computer expert but it took me over an hour to try to wirelessly set up the printer using an Apple phone and Windows 11 computer. I finally used a USB cable and the setup was less than 10 mins. I am able to wirelessly print from my phone and computer. Overall I recommend it.

Good home printer

Requires someone with experience with setting up printers. I like the design but having trouble getting this setup to work properly. Also, possible subscription issues as well.

Plug won't stay in, cuts off , difficult to work with but I have had some success . I have to hold the plug at a certain angle The software down loaded with the USB cable . No I am not going to return it . At least now I am able to get it to print documents from my computer .

It was 99.9% impossible to get this printer to connect to my HP computer. It took me an accumulation of 6 hours over 2 days to get it to barely connect to print. I had to make several major adjustments in my computer for it connect and I have to switch off the internet to my computer and then connect the computer to the printer in WiFi settings and then print and it has a minute delay after hitting the print button. The entire situation added a great deal of stress to a time sensitive situation. I do not recommend.

Am I living in the era of the 1st printer to exist

This printer was the absolute worst printer to set up. The print function is ok, but the quality of the printer is cheap, and the fact that it took three hours to set up is ridiculous…and I have a Masters degree in technology. I won't be buying another Brother printer.

Brother Work Smart MFC-J1260W Wireless Color Inkjet All-in-One Printer centered front-facing view of the compact multifunction unit with control panel and touchscreen, 150-sheet paper tray and visible USB and wireless ports; prints, copies and scans and supports mobile printing for home office use.
