The Bruder Moist Heat Eye Compress - Microwave Activated - Heat and Moisture for Dry Eyes - Reusable,  and Washable, is recommended by my Ophthalmologist for dry eyes.  I wash my face and eyes with Johnson's Baby Shampoo, rinse and dry.  Then I use an eye scrub on the bottom lid, not touching the eye, which I rinse off after using.  I then use preservative free saline eye drops.  When all that's done I heat teh Bruder eye mask in the microwave from 10-15 seconds and then put on over my head on my eyes.  Use for 8-10 minutes over the eyes to stimulate oil production for dry eyes.  The instructions say to microwave longer, but my microwave makes it hot enough in 10-15 seconds.   Instructions say to wash it.  My doctor says not to.  Use a tissue in between the eye mask and your eyes to keep it clean.    I am very happy with the Bruder Eye Mask for dry eyes.

this is so relaxing. do it all. get eye drops ( i use drops before and after), the protective "gauze" to protect the pads and eye lids, and the soothing eye lid cleansing pads. this routine brings great comfort to my very dry eyes. also, it is 10 to 15 minutes of prayer and meditation while i relieve and comfort my eyes. dry eyes or not, just a nice "spa" treatment.

Exactly as described. I use at least twice a day for 8 min. after 5 days of use, my eyes are moist and feel relaxed. I have asked my sister to purchase her own since we both need moisturizer eyes. I need to clean them today. I followed instructions, and they were clean in a couple of minutes. 
I highly recommend using these patches.

It doesn’t last very long at all. 8-10 mins for that amount of money to me is a joke. There has to be better products out here than this. It’s easy to use, 20 secs in the microwave but the headband should be a bit longer and the Velcro sections should be longer or do something different entirely bc when that Velcro gets ahold of your hair it hurts

I wouldn’t buy another one of these

Very easy to heat up in the microwave. They are well constructed and easy to adjust to fit. There are little beads that contain the heat. Problem is that you can heat them for only 30 seconds. During the first few minutes after removing from the microwave (at 30 seconds), they are a bit hot for the eyes. Once you get them onto your eyes, they lose their heat completely in about 10 minutes.
Since they gradually lose heat, I don't find them super beneficial for my extreme dry eyes. Finding something that maintains a steady heat over a 15-minute time frame would be much better.

Consider the Heat

I only gave the product a star so I could comment on it. (The system did not allow no stars.) Instructions say it can be hand washed with mild soap and cold water but beware the product bleeds brown gunk and the eye pieces turn into two hard rocks! Due to Covid I followed the directions to wash and allowed to dry 24 hours. I even tried to microwave as instructed after it dried but still have two hard rocks for eye pieces! Will be returning and requesting a refund. :-(

BEWARE, Can NOT Be Washed!

HORRIBLE!  The one I purchased thru Walmart third party,  "Sportstar Athletics" appears to be a knockoff.  Looks like real mask but inside is not "micro beads" but seems to be yucky brown sand!  I used is for about a week then washed as directed and immediately brown gunk oozed out of it all over the sink. When dry it had hard lumps and was unusable.  If I could give it ZERO STARS or NEGATIVE MARKS I would.  Walmart is sending back for a refund and I'm going to try to order again directly through the Bruder company.

This is the worst. Do not throw your money away. It is supposed to be beads in the mask but it seems to be sand. Try washing it as per the instructions and all that happens is that ‘sand’ keeps on washing out. There never seemed to be beads in them ever, so either it was an old mask that the beads melted on its way to me or it was a bad product to begin with.

Complete and Utter Waste of money!
