[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging looks so nice and creative — remember, it's the packaging. Where the knives are pretty fantastic, parts of the board supporting them broke away simply during removal. Why? Because it's just the packaging. I know, I know, the box looks sweet and useful and you CAN use it, but I promise you won't be storing these things in full view in there. 

The way they're packed also comes with something that, I thought at first, was really disappointing. The way the knives are wrapped and slotted into the box's support rack leaves a VERY noticeable mark on the blades. Like. Dark and discolored to the point that I thought I'd really *really* gotten some pieces to be disappointed in. 

I was wrong. I grew more and more certain after soaks and scrubs and trying to get that darn mark off I'd gotten a really pretty, solid, heavy set of steak knives that I'd be forever disappointed came marked up. 

… third wash or so I gave up and rubbed my thumb pad over the mark again. Came right off. Cloth, scrub brush, nothing else would do it. Obviously be very careful if you repeat this process yourself — the marks are removable.

Nice knives for nice price

THEY ARE GREAT FOR THE PRICE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives are good quality for the price. The box is flimsy and will not be able to be used for storage. The dividers fell apart. Also, a smudge was on all knives in the middle of the blade. Very difficult to remove but did finally come off.

Gods Quality for price

This was a Xmas gift for our son. Only had 7 knives...supposed to be 8. Wooden gift box was broke inside and had to glue it. Knives are sharp though.

Just received my steak knife set - the wooden gift box is in pieces - shattered!  The packaging it was sent in was a plastic bag - it was not in a box with protection of any sort - ridiculous!  I'm VERY disappointed!  I will be asking for a replacement, or a refund!
