It won't work on a huge tree trunk but thinner trunks, bushes ect. It's easy to attach to a riding lawn mower which is what I used it with to pull out a tree root.

It is easy to use and opens/closes with ease, as well as wide enough to accommodate the 4 inch recommended max diameter for items.
