The Bubba Blade 9" Tapered Flex Knife is designed for filleting and carving. The blade is also non stick coated that is bonded with titanium that helps prevent rusting and pitting and allows meat to slide off the blade effortlessly. This knife features full tang construction, made from a single piece of steel that provides strength, stability, and balances the knife. This knife also features a trigger grip, and thumb and finger pads for total control. This knife also has safety guards for protection from the blade as well as spines of fish. The handle is a no slip grip textured handle made from thermoplastic polymer and wrapped with special synthetic rubber that stays sticky when wet for total grip security. This knife is factory sharpened by hand. I bought the 7" and 9" tapered. Only used the 9" so far, performed great.

Buy Them.

I bought the 9” tapered flex for filleting stripers. The Bubba blade works great and stays sharp!

Great item

Ok,  because of this COVID-19 stuff,  I haven't been able to fillet a fish,  but I've filleted chicken breasts,  lemons,  limes,  and everything else in sight.  I love this knife sooooooo much!  Everything about it is awesome!

I bought this knife as a gift for my son, I am very impressed at the quality of it when it came in. My husband looked at it and said he is going to be very happy to be getting it for Christmas.

Great detail

I bought the 9' knife for my son - its a little long, i probably should have gotten the 7' but this knife is still pretty awesome!  The handle is great and it is really sharp!

Great Knife!

This knife is great for big fish. I also have the battery powered one with 4 blades I absolutely love it. The only downfall is grip is a little to bulky.

Great product!

This is my second Bubba knife, it has always held an edge and is very comfortable grip. Not a better fillet knife on the market.
Next purchase will be the cordless fillet knife

Great Products

After one day of use I am extremely happy with this knife. The blade has enough flex to work around the bones, and sharp enough to cut frozen bait out on the ice. The handle has a nice feel, even with ice fishing gloves on.

Love the feel

Used my knife first time on trip to Lake Vermillion in Minnesota. Knife super sharp out of box. I cut a variety of fish, from perch to walleyes and Pike. I liked the 9 inch flex,  better than my old 7 inch Rapala knife . Was able to filet small fish along with removing the Y bones in Pike. So far so good, knife is good quality and larger handle works well. Let's see how well long it stays sharp and how it does after sharpening.

Great start

I used my 9 inch tapered flex only once. I was filleting a fluke(summer Flounder). As I slid the knife down the backbone it flexed up and broke through the skin (too much flex).As I again ran it down the backbone it hit a small bone and the point broke off. I fillet hundreds of fluke every year and have never had this happen. Hoping to get a refund
