This toy has 3 bubble guppies song the theme , one about colors, one about is his name o Gil and Molly and one solo for the little guy to sing it alone.
the second button makes a bubble sound , not really fun.
but after a month of purchase he is still playing with it , almost everyday . He even tries to learn the song. When he gets close to the microphone he can sing into it and hears his echo , but it does not work every time.
but overall im happy with it .

Bubble guppies fan

My son has been a Bubble Guppies fan since the show came out, and we have been waiting for toys featuring them to come out. As soon as I saw this microphone I had to order it. We Totally Rock is one of his favorite episodes. He enjoys hearing Molly and Gil's voices and hearing bits of their songs. It's also neat to have the option to sing along. Hope to see more Bubble Guppies toys soon!

First, my daughter (17 months) LOVES Bubble Guppies & loves this toy. She likes to dance to the music, tries to sing along, & has been obsessed with it since she got it for Christmas. There are a few problems I have with it though. There's no volume control & it's very very loud, with a lot of treble so it's the ear-piercing kind of sound. There's no power button, only a button that disables the mic portion. I can't fathom why someone would make a sound toy without a power switch. It only plays 1 song from the show (the color song), a version of Bingo using Molly's name, & a couple of other songs. Don't buy this if you are looking for something to play music from the show.

Kids love it, parents' worst nightmare

My daughter LOVES this microphone. However, she only was able to use the microphone part for about 3 months before it stopped working. It took her a little time to get the concept off talking into, and when she did, she was so excited, but not long after that, it stopped working, leaving her very disappointed. The song button still works, and she still plays with it, I just wish the microphone itself would have lasted longer. Especially for $15.00!!!!!

Cute, but disappointing

My 2 year old loves Bubble Guppies and all things musical, so I may have over anticipated the microfin thinking it would be totally awesome and she'd love it.. She likes it, but doesn't think of it as a microphone, more like a music player-which is still entertaining. There is one little hole on top to speak into and the speaker is on the fin and you can't hear yourself at all... Which is ironic considering how LOUD the music is. The fin isn't motorized to flip to the music (as I imagined it would) it merely moves back and forth when you move or shake it. Also... There is no off switch for the music, so Molly and Gil can start singing any time the button is bumped.
