Received scale and screws that hold clear cover plate on were loose in the box. Tried to screw back in and the holes were stripped out. I am scared to use it if it came loose during shipping

Poor workmanship! I  had to take the face off to fix the needle it was upside down and could not be calibrated till it was fixed. Then to screw the face back on it screws stripped.
