It works so well and I am so happy with the product 

Microscope is great 

This might be a good product, but unfortunately, it was impossible to unscrew the tiny screw that held the battery panel. I think many customers tried to unscrew it, as there were a lot of scratches, and all returned it. Without batteries, it can't work, so it's too bad that this one part of the microscope is so poorly designed, even with the right screwdriver (not a common one, I had to borrow from a neighbour). Maybe so many people tried to open the panel of this one microscope that the screw was finally damaged. A flaw in the design of what might otherwise be a great microscope. Really too bad.

One unfortunate drawback

I picked this up for my daughter who is super into science. She was so excited to open it up and discover new things. While the slides and prefilled slides were decent quality, the microscope itself was cheaply made. We were unable to actually unscrew and open the place to put batteries. She has been unable to use this.

Great Idea But Poor Delivery

Good luck unscrewing the poorly built tiny screw to get the batteries in. Tried for half an hour with two different screwdrivers that were the right size and shape -- failed to budge. Will have to return, hope I'll get a refund or credit as I could not open the box without a small tear. Everything looks cheaply made, the lens doesn't screw on, and I would be surprised if it works. If you bought it as a gift, the recipient might not want to hurt your feelings. They probably never used it. You get what you pay for in this case.

horrible.  impossible to see anything.  only could see the pine end.  save your money.  and yes i know how to use a microscope, i have a science degree.
