We were a little bit surprised about the way it was delivered. My wife went to pick the box up and the lid of the box started to come away from the bottom and she almost dropped it and there was  very little protection for the clock inside the box. We inspected the clock closely and had found that the clock was in very good condition, intact it was beautiful. The instructions for setting the time were confusing, there were no phone number to talk to someone or no website or a way to chat with someone, we had to resorted to find someone on YouTube. After figuring out how to set the time mostly by trial and error we got the clocks time right. Happy to say its  working beautifully.

Got it for my mother she loved it!!

This really is a beautifully made (and HEAVY) wooden clock. The only thing I don't like is that you have to remove the backing completely to change batteries, set the chiming, etc. It is hard for me to do because, once up, I don't think I could get it down again. It seems that the chimes are changing as well. All in all, though, it is well worth the money, even without chimes. It is a beautiful (and much larger than I expected!) clock!
