[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I love the look of this desk for our Sunday School office. I purchased 2 60" X 60" desk and have another 40" desk and bookshelf to match on the way. It seems very sturdy but in order to keep the top looking good for a long time, we will be having custom cut glass with beveled edges made for them. Love the look of the desk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been watching this desk on Amazon at the same price. It suddenly sold out and everywhere else I looked it was well over $300! At that price it's not worth it but for $170 this is a steal. Nice color and although I doubt it is solid wood it still appears solid and feels nice.

I bought this desk for my home office and love it. My wife ended up liking the style and sturdiness so I bought a second one for her office space. They both look great. The assembly is a little more difficult than most desks, but the sturdiness makes up for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love the color and appearance of product; however, there is some peeling on one of the legs but it's not really noticeable for my use. Assembly was easy but does require two people a times. Overall, product is exactly what I was looking for.

nice farmhouse desk for working at home

The desk is beautiful!  However, you might want to think about where you are going to store your office supplies.  You have to be creative to make this 'Beauty' practical.

Good looks vs Practical

The open style and x on the sides as well as the dark top with light bottom is nice. However, it's poorly designed: The holes for the dowels are drilled too deeply, so it's not as sturdy as it should be. Also the flat top is made of 4 pieces when it should just be 2 pieces. There's no structural reason for the 2 small top pieces - they just add unnecessary work, dumb looking lines, and the grain pattern direction doesn't even match those of the 2 larger pieces.

I think it looks very nice but it's really just cheap assembly furniture. It didn't meet my expectations. The back support cracked easily when I kicked back from my seat, not hard. I repackaged and returned item.

Lower quality than expected

This desk is nothing like the quality I expected from the picture. It is cheap MDF material only. I thought the top would be real wood that had been stained light grey, it is hideous grey MDF overlay. It doesn't even look like wood. One sweating cup placed on it will leave a pucker mark within five minutes. The desk itself is also a disappointment since it is not as sturdy as I thought based on the picture.  I would not purchase this desk again.
