The box you get will be heavy, and my first thought was "I bet the glass is breaken",  but low and behold everything was flawless. It was about a 2 beer, 2 hour assembly job, and would probably take longer with a friend! But, not complicated and relatively easy. In the end, the piece is beautiful and very sturdy, I am very happy with the construction.

Looks excellent when together. Comes completely disassembled. Only complaint for the price it really should have a back that is wood with openings for the wires. The back is presently that heavy paper with punch out holes for your wiring. Overall though really like this product.

Just recieved this item and my husband put it together right away (easy to follow directions). What a beautiful piece of furniture! Great quality, very sturdy and looks like a very expensive piece of furniture. For the price this unit is a steal! Would definitely recommend this and the matching video unit.

Love this piece!

I bought 2 cabinets. I put one together and my husband put together the other. It was easy to assemble. One of the boxes did have a broken piece. I called Bush and they shipped a replacement out to me right away at no cost. The set looks really nice.

Great pick!

I'm glad I did not listen to reviews about how difficult it was to put together. This product litterally had the best directions I have ever seen from wood furniture. All of the parts were separated and properely labled and the directions walked through step by step on what to do referencing all of the proper parts.

Very sold and works great. A slightly bigger gap on the door than I wanted, but no big deal.

Worked Great for Us...Easy to assemble

My daughter put the unit together in a few hours. Unfortunately we received the unit damaged in the box so we had to call Bush for the part which came quickly. The instructions would be better with some written directions instead of just pictures. I also wish the back had optional punch out holes as I had numerous wires to fit through the small hole provided. Overall the cabinet looks good and I think the cost of it was worth the money I spent.

Nice cabinet for the cost.

This is a decent looking piece of furniture, but I was hoping the quality would be a little better.

The cabinet backing is not wood at all - it's simply a thin layer of paperboard/cardboard type material that has the "cherry finish" look to it. It doesn't do a very good job of making the cabinet as sturdy as it should be. The rest of the furniture looks to be made out of plywood with a thin veneer to give it a nice look. One of the side pieces had a corner that was chipped/mashed but it wasn't enough for me to send it back. In fact, it's hardly noticeable from where it's sitting in my living room.

Assembly did take a while but I found the directions to be pretty straight forward. Although I did make a mistake and installed the fixed shelf upside down so that the black side is up. After the dowel pins and glue were already in place of course... I left it as is - still looks nice.

One other note - each of the black pieces of the assembly have thin brown lines/streaks throughout... they looked like scratches at first and I wondered if the piece was damaged. As it turns out, that's what gives it the "antique" finish apparently. I was worried initially but it ended up looking quite nice.

Hoping For More

Two piece's were damaged and had to contact the manufacturer for replacement.  No issues with them replacing,  but still waiting on the parts.

picture on the web looks like 2 colors - right? The picture shows a black exterior. BUT IT IS STREAKED. Looks like *rap. Bush says that is the way it is supposed to look. But Walmart did not show it as it really is. So if you want a cabinet that looks like kids have been running their toys up and down it - you are in luck. If you want one that looks like the wally worlds picture - not available.

poor finish - does not match picture

If I knew more about this cabinet before I bought it, I would have never purchased it.
I thought it was made with wood. It is primarily made of particle board (glued wood chips). The only part of the cabinet that was genuine wood was the door frame that holds the glass portion of the door. This cabinet is very cheap and poorly constructed.

Wood dowels should fit tight. These wood dowels don't fit tight, they slip out and fit into the holes at different lengths. The particle board chips and breaks when any pressure is put on it, especially on corners of the cabinet. The back panel is made of a
cardboard like material and is not very sturdy. In fact, we felt this cabinet was
so unstable that we added four wood supports, two at the base to hold the sides together and two on the top to hold the top and sides together. Also, three screws were missing from the packaging.

In addition the instructions are very poor. They consist of pictures, no written instructions of any kind. The picture indicates the part that you are working on and the fastener that you need. There are several places where pictures don't fully
explain what needs to be done where written instructions would have been much
plainer.

We did call the Bush Stanford customer service helpline twice and they were very
courteous and did answer the questions that we had. The missing screws were
sent to us promptly.

However, if this cabinet is any indication of the quality of the products of Bush Stanford, we will never purchase anything made by them again. This has also
left us very disappointed in the Walmart.com service as this was the first time we
had ever used this option. We were very disappointed.
