it fit well and they had lots of double sided tape on it.  i just had to peel all of the red tape overlay off, clean the tailgate good and it was ready to go.  i added a few sceews on the inside of the tailgate just in case since the tailgate has some damage.  My truck is just a work truck but i wanted to cover all of the holes on the tailgate.

was damage when i opened the box. used it did not want to waste the time it would take to return it.  had to do some trimming to get it to fit  like I wanted it to fit. I will see how it holds up.

I had to buy this because I had bought a fiberglass tannau cover and the stock "whale tale" tailgate cap wouldn't work with it. I thought it was kinda expensive for essentially a thin piece of molded plastic with some adhesive strips, not to mention that the plastic is super soft and scratches fairly easily. This is not the durability I was looking for in a high traffic area such as a working man's tailgate cap. Unfortunately no one had one for less when you calculated the shipping.  Maybe the other brand of these is stronger/harder. It does cover the holes in the tailgate and the fiberglass tannau cover now shuts like it should.  Installation is really simple, but be careful to remove all the old adhesive, and keep it centered on your tailgate when removing the new adhesive strips backing.
