The Cadet baseboard heater works awesomely and was just what I needed. Had to replace an old one that stopped working. Did it myself since I already had the power lines for it. Was pretty easy to install. Cut the power from old unit, removed and installed new unit. Took pictures of old thermostat wiring to make sure everything aligned like the old unit. Reviewed thermostat wiring for new unit, it was pretty much the same and began installation. Took maybe an hour and half cause I had a difficult time keeping unit in place while I mounted to the wall. Once in place everything else was easy peasy! Love the new unit, it adds an additional heat source that was really needed in my family room which has a sliding glass door and a huge picture window in it. Turned a cold room into a comfortable room.

Works like a charm!!

so far i have two hooked up but only one is working and i bought four so i hope it only one that dont work the one that works ..... workd great put out a good amount of heat easy to set up

baseboard heater

they just dont heat well, have to have them on high to fell heat. if below comfort they are cold to touch. on only works on high at all. extremely disappointed.  husband worked for cadet and thats why i went with thwm, turned out to be a big mostake.

It ips the wrong type of heater. I need a heater that I can plug into the wall, then turn it on not one that connects to the breaker.

Avoid this product. It becomes noisy with lots of clicking sounds. Contacting their support was of no help - they told me to buy replacement parts, without recognizing that the problem was with their product design.
If you search online for comments, you will find A LOT of complaints on the poor quality of this product. Avoid Dimplex and Cadet.
