[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I have the 24" Woodwind, my original cover was difficult to use after adding the Sidekick unit to it. The additional dimensions of the Sidekick made the cover really tight. After a few seasons in all sorts of weather, the canvas began to tear whenever I tried to maneuver it around a tight corner. By using the 30" cover, I have no trouble putting it on or taking it off thanks to the extra room. We'll still have to see how well it weathers.

Using the 30" cover on a 24" Woodwind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice build quality, thick, heavy duty feel to the Stainless Steel components.  Simple and easy directions to set up.  Consistent and even temperatures throughout the cooking chamber.  Absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade or new to the grill/smoker game.

Camp Chef 36 Stainless Steel game changer

Was surprised how large this cover is and the adjustability. Fits my 36" well and keeps the weather off my smoker

Helps keep smoker clean and free from the weather

The cover is good and fits on top of the 36 inch Camp Chef Woodwind Pro with the sidekick (and griddle, pizza over or sear box) However, they call it a snug fit, but realistically it's not designed to fit like a glove.

Once the cover is on, there's no easy way to do the straps as they are too short. Probably designed for a previous model with a chimney and never updated.

You can leave the propane tank on and the cover will still fit, but maybe an opening at the right height could allow you to put the cover on and leave the tank outside.

Overall, the cover does what it's supposed to do and protects the grill but it's not different than a third party cover as it doesn't perfectly fit the grill as it should coming from the manufacturer.

Good cover, not a perfect fit but it works.

Good quality cover fits perfectly, even over the chimney and the Sear Box propane tank. This is my second and will likely order a third when necessary. My grill is outside year around, facing a morning sun and whatever elements delivered by four seasons. The sun's ultraviolet rays do the cover no good, but it provides an added protective cover for the bare grill thus avoiding exposure to any unpleasant weather.

A Layer of Protection

Meh. It's a cover, just not a cover for this grill.  Color is ugly, fits oddly with the side sesr attached. I'll definitely look for another option. Not happy at all about this for the price paid. This is not a cover for the woodwind pro.

I guess it works

Though it says it fits the woodwind with the sidekick attached, this cover does not fit the new woodwind pro with sidekick as advertised. With the sidekick attached, and nothing sitting on top of it, the cover is stretched to it's limits creating a poor fit all around - too tight on the hopper and sidekick, base and legs completely exposed, pulled and bunching fabric all over. I also cannot attach the Velcro straps on each side at all - they simply don't touch unless I want to expose another 12 inches of the legs and base, so everything is very much exposed to the elements and critters. Oh and the chimney part of it just looks dumb (I knew that part when I bought it though). Hope they come out with one specifically for the pro.

Does not fit the woodwind pro 36 with sidekick

This was marketed/sold in on the Woodwind Pro 36 page.  I have the sidekick with my grill and the cover is clearly undersized.  It fits so tight that it feels like it's going to tear each time i put it on - and it won't really cover the whole grill.  In addition, it has a section for a smoke stack - which my smoker doesn't have (it has "down and out" vents).  So, that part sits folder over like a limp u know what . . . For spending 2k on this smoker after tax, etc., I expect more than this!  Please make a cover that actually fits THIS smoker - not a different one.

Don't but the cover for a Woodwind Pro 36

Grill arrived with missing screws and shelf. Controller went out a month after owning. Nothing like having meat ready to go on the grill and it not turn on….especially at the price the grill costs.
