This is a Christmas present for my young adult son who requested it specifically. It's still sealed and brand new, so I'm assuming it will play fine. I'm giving it a 5 for the prompt delivery and for having one of the best prices for it.

BUY IT, YOU'LL LOVE IT

Love this album!  Tyler takes you through a journey with these albums. He uses his songs and gritty sound to share his perspective on religion and shares with us his story with sobriety.

Gritty Appalachian Music

A true classic album and a must have for any collection of vinyl... 
The 3 set vinyl is pretty cool, and the overall design of the packaging is nice as well.  The album art although basic, it looks really cool especially this large.. For those considering framing this, it might a bit tough without a deep frame or album sleeve modification...

As for the music %26 album, how can one critique? one of the greatest singers and bands of our generation with the songwriting skill ranked high amongst the greatest of all time..  Hank? Willie? Waylon? come on now keep readin...

The first record played on vinyl with that scratching with that live organ coming in slowly with that bass line hitting before tyler comes in to belt that opening line... Glory..

Performing a few covers and a few originals, this album truly takes you on an experience like none other with the feeling of praise gospel while living the true freedom of AMERICA... Regardless of race, religion, or creed, this music is enjoyable and the vinyl album specifically is worth buying!!! 

PS. even though the price is a bit higher, remember its 3x albums with a variety of style between them. The hallelujah version is so amazing I would pay this price for just that album version...

Tyler Childers is the man. him and billy strings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a big fan of Tyler Childers and was very excited to hear this album on vinyl. There are 3 different versions of this record. The first is labeled Hallelujah, which is done with traditional church instrumentation. It's a very good effort and enjoyable to listen too. The second album is labeled jubilee and this is done in a more traditional bluegrass instrumentation. Please note the vocal tracks used sound the same it's just a different instrumental mix. The third and last album is labeled Art of Noise. This mix does not have any vocals in the mix and instrumentation includes more electronics. I'm not as fond of the mix. Ultimately, I think this is a good album and a great show of Tyler Childers talents. However, I don't think the album required 3 mixes.
