The design of the super angled shaft on this curl bar aids in developing upper arm mass while decreasing pressure on the wrists and hands. Crafted from solid steel with a chromed or black powder coated finish and included ring collars to secure weights when going heavy, this curl bar is built to hold a maximum of 200-pounds. The diamond knurled 25.4 mm handgrips offer a tight, non-slip grip. The rotating sleeves with bushings spin when in motion, reducing pressure on the forearms and preventing the bar from warping. I would give this 5 stars if it was what it was advertised as, which it's not. Cap's site says it's a solid bar and it's not. It only weighs 16.5lbs. This is on Cap not Walmart. Walmart is just listing what Cap says it is. It's still a good deal and has a 200lbs capacity. I'm pleased overall.

Good for the money

the bar is heavy duty and has good contour for various grips. othe clamps that come with are garbage.

Great bar, bad clamps

The bar is of acceptable quality for the price. The bushings are quite loose and the bar is painted poorly, not anodized. The knurled surface is covered by paint which reduces grip. OK for my personal use...

Acceptable bar

Not an issue of the bar itself.  The bar is good quality and will work great and last a lifetime I am sure.  However, it appears to have been handled by baby Silverbacks during their breaktime.  I ordered and received a total of three bars.  All three had missing parts and all three had damage to their black finishes.  All three had evidence of severe mis-handling.  Scrapes and gouges into the black finish and even some damage to the metal on one of them.  It actually looks like they used them as swords and went into battle with them.  I would not recommend anyone purchase this item online like I did.  WalMart is clearly not ready to deal with all of the complexities of internet sales.  I don't know who is.  But the combination of WalMart and FedEx is not working.
