Ordered this barbell after searching a lot of various sites to find a bar that would allow me to continue using my standard plate collection with my new Marcy Diamond Olympic Surge Bench. Hard to tell on some products exactly how wide it is from inside grip to inside grip. The bar was about 49" and it does fit on the bigger benches. Of course, upgrading to olympic bar and plates eventually would be nice, but if you have a standard set and a 5foot bar, this will get you going for about $30.

Good Value and fits on Mid-Olympic Size Bench

This bar is perfect for my cage. I love the threaded ends. I use them to make the bar long enough to fit into cage the way I like it to. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I'm very happy with this bar.

250# capacity I'll never reach, but the feel of a solid bar is something you just have to experience to appreciate. I like the look of chrome, too. The spin locks are so much easier to manage than spring locks. I'm a happy camper.

No excuses

Most people start off using standard weight equipment, then graduate to Olympic equipment.i was just the opposite. after years of training with Olympic equipment,I find I like the standard weights better.

Good quality product, inexpensive for a long bar. Only minor issue is one collar wobbles a bit when threading, otherwise completely satisfied. Buy this product!

I'd buy another without hesitation.

I feel more secure with the threaded ends, than with a smooth barbell that you put those clips on to secure the weights from falling off. That was a big reason why I bought this. Another huge reason was because it was one inch. I see a lot of bars I'll be buying in the future that can hold my 1 inch weight plates on them.

Bar is great, spin locks and weighs about 15 pounds. Maybe the only knock, it could use better rubber washers, but their cheap enough to replace. Awesome deal for the price.

Good price. Seemingly good quality so far. I liked that it came with the collars, which some bars do not for some insane reason. My older barbell had a little more weight to it, which I prefered, but I wouldn't could that against this product.

It's a barbell. No complaints.

I received this barbell missing 1 of the weight plate holder pieces that screw on to the ends of the barbell!

missing pieces

It came late and then the complete parts also did not come.
One side of the weight holder screw was not on it
