Weights have a smooth finish with no burrs.

I needed a small extra counterweight to fit the 28mm counterweight bar on an iEQ45 telescope mount. (Normally you would get the extension bar - but this is less expensive and I need only a slight increase in weight.) Most 1" weights fit a 1" bar (25.2mm) - but this particular series has a hole closer to 1-1/8". Anyway, they make great weights for barbells also - but happen to also work for my needs.

It gets the job done bought he 2.5 pound for my dumbells and it gets the job done perfectly and they don't seem to chip away like some of the other dumbells highly recommend this product for people that are trying just to add some more weigh to their work out routine.

Nice it does the job

I purchased this for my smith machine i have in my house and my daughter had begun using it but the weights i had were to heavy. the lightest weight i had was a 25lb plate so i order these for here and she loves them. She uses them on the machine and because they have handle grips built into the plates she uses them for lunges and walks with them as well.

Great weights

I purchased 1 set of the 1 inch hole, 5 lb plates that match perfectly with my cap standard threaded barbell. I already have sets of 25 & 10 lbs (same brand) so there was little chance that these 5 lb'ers wouldn't fit my bar. These plates also rack easily on my standard Marcy bench which helps organizational wise being in an apartment. I will be purchasing more of these in the future.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Walmart and Walmart.com is my favorite place for quality gym equipment. I usually only buy from Walmart as the retailer, but now I have opened up to some bigger shippers as well. This item from CAP is very representative of all CAP products: great value and quality. Love these.

Great!

These 10lb weight plates are efficient and great for the price.  These were bought as spare weights to have on hand.  They are very well made and solid.  They appear they will last a very long time without having to worry about any degrading happening.

Efficient and Cheap!

Purchased the cap barbell 25lb. weights to accommodate my newly purchased "Caldwell lead sled plus" rifle recoil rack used to sight in a rifle. The weights are exactly as shown on the Wal-Mart web site. The diameter and thickness fit perfectly with the lead sled weight tray. I have utilized the "ship to store" feature several times and have been very pleased with the convenience and quickness of delivery of my orders. It's very convenient to shop on line and know you can receive any item Wal-Mart offers in their vast inventory of products. I'm sure I saved a bundle having a 50lb. box of weights shipped to the store for pick up.

Meets my particular need

They're cast iron weights, not much to explain really. They are what they are and perform their job. The design of the plates gives them handles that make them easier to lug around, and allows them to work as makeshift dumbbells by themselves. it's not a big deal, but a nice touch. The price per pound is pretty good, except the 10 lbs plates which are, weirdly, significantly more expensive than other sizes, which is why I opted not to get any 10 lbs. plates.

Good value

The price and shipping for these plates was excellent. I ordered 4 and planned to use them for dumbbells. No dimensions were listed so I ordered them blindly. Upon receiving them it was discovered that these plates are very tall, about as tall as an Olympic 35 pound plate, and they are wobbly. I will make them work but if I had to do it over again I'd definitely go with solid (no grip holes) plates for my dumbbells.

25 pound plates - don't use for dumbbells

i bought eight of these plates and only two actually fit a 1" barbell. they are so unevenly and improperly bored that the lumpy defects prevent the plate from sliding onto the bar. ridiculous how unusable most of these are.

horrible quality,  6 out of 8 purchased useless
