It's a great solid EZ Curl Bar. Can curl 100 lbs. and do upright rows with it. Grip on the bar is exceptional. 

The packaging on the bar needs to be improved because it moves while in transit and can cause the cardboard to rip,

I quickly bought and built up a mini home isolation quarantine recovery gym. And, it was “get what you can” and it was “hit and miss”.  What was available? 6 ft bar with no spin locks (skip this one because the clips you buy separately don't grip enough and so not worth the tiny price) was a weak option. Then, 5 ft spin lock bar was good but honestly, if it's just for a mini gym, I would again skip for the better option.  So, what's left? A tricep bar (skip) which is great for compactness, but the ones initially available didn't have good design for the plates so again I would skip even though it's a spin lock.  And, finally, this ez curl bar. Love it. I can do everything as with the 5 ft bar (2nd best option) but this wins because of size and most importantly in the morning, you start with curls and overhead triceps usually and no need to stretch or loosen your shoulder up because of the favorable grip positions. This ez curl bar with some dumbbells and a good FID “pro gear” bench (because it folds best and is value priced) is all you need for a basic gym. A negative/positive is that this ez curl bar is smaller than 1 inch diameter but if you're a Walmart guy, the Cap Fitness 40lb dumbbell set may also work on these but I haven't tried them on here (the weights are a little smaller than 1 inch diameter on that dumbbell set).

What two exercises do you start ...

Package was damaged in two areas.  Item was sticking out at one end of the package.  Fedex driver stated that he left the package by the garage, which is false.  He left the package at the end of the driveway by a garbage bin near the street.  The package could have been stolen or mistaken for garbage.  Otherwise, the Bicep Curl Bar is excellent.

made of solid steel! stable and i could grip on it easily. perfect length and does the job with my muscles. happy with this purchase and you cant beat the price!

Steel barbell bar

The Cap Curl bar is a good value at this price point.The collars that mount to the threaded bar do have excess play after mounted.Also when I put weights on the bar and tighten them with the collars they  become loose after each  few  sets.Please make sure you check to see the collars are tight when using.Overall a outstanding bar.

Affordable Curl Bar

The curved bar is excellent for my need. The screw on clamps that are used to hold the weights needs to be tighten a few times because they come loose. They should be some sort of locking button or clip to keep the clips from loosening. I like the screw on clips because I have arthritis in my hands and the squeeze clamps are not good for me.

Easy for ppl with arthritis in hands.

The bar is fine. My problem is mainly with the right clamp which loosens all the time and requires tightening every time I lift weights to prevent them from spinning. The left clamp will loosen randomly but I could live with that.
I have CAP Barbell 14" Standard Threaded Dumbbell Handles and those clamps stay tight.
